  1. I don\'t want to be a downer but I think it a terrible idea to raise the price too much. I think 20 is even pushing it a little. At the moment none of the gameplay mechanics are implemented. By that i mean missions, campaign, etc. If its priced too high new buyers will be expecting these to be both finished and polished. It could lead to much negative publicity if they\'re not satisfied. I love KSP but I think at the moment it\'s a bit premature to charge too much.
  2. Because Kerbals are lazy creature we\'ve engineered this lander so that they don\'t have to climb too far to reach the ground. Incidentally, this also reduces injuries due to falling. Also, booster uses jet engines instead of solid rocket boosters. This does really benefit from MechJeb ascent auto pilot as the Jet Engines can make things a tad unstable when it first lifts off.
  3. 1. I don\'t know if this is actually a problem. Back in the 1700s plenty of single people went to the new world, never to see their family again. People adapt, as long as their are people around to adapt with. 2. One capsule is a jail? Or, perhaps capital punishment is used for minor crimes. (Not particularly moral, but it would be effective). 3. Big question, is it marketable. 4. This is actually a big issue. It\'s incredibly inefficient to waste grains on alcohol production, especially when there is a limited food supply. I\'d imagine intoxicants used would be other than Alcohol. Marijuana, or other plant based substances come to mind. 5. Soap operas (which run for decades) are fairly popular, I don\'t see a fundamental difference between this and a soap opera.
  4. I used to play Orbiter extensively. I really feel that KSP is the spiritual successor to it. It already has nearly the same functionality (besides docking). However, at the moment it is still really fun. The historical missions are really cool, like Gemini, and Apollo. Theres nothing better than recreating Apollo 11, or 13 if that\'s your fancy.
  5. I\'d say that Metric is better because it\'s less prone to conversion errors. IE, in metric it\'s much easier to convert from Metres to Kilometers as it is to convert from Yards to Miles. On the flip side, this ease with converting makes it much more likely that you\'ll create these errors as when your using imperial you usually double check your conversion ratios because of the complexity involved. In metric, you\'re much more likely to add or subtract one or more zeros when changing units.
