1. Well, I managed to reproduce the Auto-Updater error. And I've tried the installer. The download is corrupt. Which might even be the same problem you had, Michionlion. Re-downloading it after reloaded the download page fixed it for me. Now to work on that Auto-Updater thing. Edit: Well, my initial thoughts about the installer was off... It wasn't the download, even thought it failed for me the first time. Looks like I have to update the delivery system. Or create a new installer. But downloading the direct .exe here could be be another temporarily option for now. Or using one of the older installers. Auto-Updater will always update to the newest regardless.
2. Thanks. I didn't notice that one. Also the one on your picture, where the List didn't fill up the entire space. I'll get working on both of those asap. And I probably should stop using Message boxes for debugging. xD Hehe. Hmm... Strange. Did the earlier versions work with the installer? If not, you can download the direct .exe needed here, http://kspmm.norway174.com/KSPMMVersion/Newest/Kerbal%20Space%20Program%20Mod%20Manager.exe. (That link should always point to the newest one. It's the same one the Auto-Updater uses.) By not using the installer, KSPMM won't register the file type, .kspmm, and the protocol, kspmm://. (However, .kspmm file type will still work if you add it manually.) And you would need to find the Ionic.zip.dll and add it to the same directory as the program. (I believe KSP should have it, "\KSP\KSP_Data\Managed\Ionic.zip.dll") EDIT: Dang, I must be some kind of a genius. Or maybe really forgetful. I tracked down the Message box "bug". Turns out, it was a function I created a while ago to detect if the part is already installed. But it's empty because it doesn't work properly yet. I'll just comment it out in the next version. It's going to need allot of rewrite to make more functional. But the principle works. Stay tuned for 1.4.5.1!!! (Thanks for reporting this bug.) EDIT 2: 1.4.5.1 released! Auto-Updater only.
3. Just letting everyone know, that I do have a Facebook page if anyone wants to follow me. http://www.facebook.com/Norway174
4. Ahh, you have it in your program files. It doesn't have read/write access there. What happens is that it tries to delete the SmartUpdater.exe on startup. Cleaning up it's own mess. Normally, nothing would happen if the SmartUpdater isn't present. But it doesn't have access to deleting files in that directory. Either try and startup KSPMM as an administrator or move KSP out of Program files. I suggest My documents, that's where I keep mine at least. If it still doesn't work. I'll try and make a work-around in the next version and release that ASAP. Also, to anyone who's updating; If it gives you a message box saying it delete a Registry key. Don't worry. This will just happen one time. And what it does is that it cleans up a feature I removed. And the results of that, there are several keys this program is utilizing in the Registry. I figured it would be better to just remove those keys than to just leave them there. And I forgot to remove the message box for debugging purposes. Thank you!
5. Bumping for another AWESOME update, to 1.4.5.0. Finally fixed that no mods in --MODS-- folder bug. Update with the Auto-Updater. Thank you!
6. The program will ask if it can create it for you the first time you run it. It will also then create the Installed for you, inside the --MODS-- folder. And in other good news, I have fixed the start-up detect bug when there is no mods. Also working on a few minor things, then I will release it. This is just a small update, so the Auto-Updater only.
7. @Zuff: Hmm... Quite strange. I think the only reason why it opens when the mods folder is empty is because of that bug. When it encounters an error like that, it stops whatever else it's doing. In this case loading the settings. There are two possible fixes I could see for this right now. First one would be to use the bug to your advantage, load it up with the MODS folder empty. You can see it, right? Then just move it around a bit, making the settings update to it's current position. Or the other option would be, to open your Regedit, and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Norway174 -> KSPMM, and set the "Full" key to "true", with will make the application start with fullscreen mode. Then open it, and show the "Size settings" window from the "View" menu, and simply hit the Reset button. If neither of those works, please let me know. Edit: Could also an mod/admin remove the last part of my topic tittle? This part: "[1.4.2.0]". Figured it would be better to remove it since I can't update it. And that version is quite some time ago. Thank you.
8. Yeah, Younata. That link should work. But for me, now. For some reason. It didn't work. I could have sworn I fixed that bug with opening links directly. It must be connected with the that No mods in mods folder bug. I will release a new version as soon as possible. And as for different formats, if you use my Dev-Kit tool, it can automatically just pack it as a .zip for you. And back to the Fuel transfer module, it does work. However, I messed up last release. Leaving out the support for info.txt in sub-folders. And I realized another thing, the adding file from URL inside the application doesn't work with kspmm:// either. I will add support for that one too. Thank you.
9. Actually... I have been looking into Mac. But I don't have a Mac myself. So there's not much else I can do. Than to say, go buy a windows PC. xD But in all seriousness... I will let you know if I ever find something I can get this working for Mac's.
10. Sorry for my absence. Jorbrasken, does the error message look like anything like Arkasai's Message? If so, I think the error message is produced if there is no mods in the --MODS-- folder. If it is empty. If so, try and put a new mods in it. (At least one.) And try again. If the same problem occurs, let me know.
11. Hmm... Very weird. Is your .NET Framework up-to-date? The Installer should make sure it is. But in-case it doesn't. You can get it here: Microsoft .Net Framework 4 Other than that, I'm looking into it now. Edit: Weird. I downloaded the same, uninstalled it. And tried to reinstall with the new one I just downloaded from my own site. Nothing. What OS are you guys on?
12. Where are you buddy? I haven't seen you in a while. Is everything OK?

13. Just a reminder to everyone. We're not dead. Just been busy working in a website (Secret for now. Hehe.), and been a bit busy making the Dev-Kit. Which can be found here, <a href="http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/16612-Win-Kerbal-Space-Program-Mod-Manager-Dev-Kit-KSPMM-Dev-Kit-1-0-0-0">KPSMM Dev-Kit</a>. And getting this updated to 1.4.4.0. Hopefully, some time soon. I'll manage to add the very popular demand, overwriting of files detection system. To let you choose which files you want to install. And/or overwrite. Thank you all, Happy launching! Edit: And a huge thank you to everyone for 410 downloads! It's amazing!
14. Alrite, so I'm back with my second application for KSP. This time it's the Mod packager, I originally had planned to put inside KSPMM. But I figured it would be more useful to have it as a separate application. Basically, what this does, it creates a "project" for you. A project is the folder structure. I adds all the folders for you. Then you add your mod inside them. And simply run the packager. To create .zip or .kspmm for you. For increased functionality, it can even do both at the same time.

There are two ways to create a new project:

Start the Dev-Kit and create a new project. Go to a location where you want to start your project. Create a new file, and call it for whatever you want to call your mod. Make sure the filetype is set to, ".KSPMP". (Without the " " ) Run the file you created. You should see a folder pop-up with the same name as the project file.

Project files are the main and only filetype used. When this program creates a new project. Basically, what it does; It creates a new project files type. And runs it. Then exits itself. Leaving the "other" application started with the KSPMP Project file. You can have as many of these as your computer can handle at once. Unlike KSPMM, where you can only have one running at a time. However, you only need to have it open when creating a new project. and packaging it. Since this is what it's made for. Making the mod, and moving them into the corresponding folders is up to you. (Assume you already have the mod created. If not, there is nothing stopping you from creating the mod within the project folders too. That would actually be faster, instead of making it elsewhere then copying it over.) Well, you get the idea. [h=4]Download: Click me to download[/h] Sourecode is coming... Please note: The current location the Info.txt is placed at. Does not work with older versions of KSPMM. However, in the version 1.4.6.0 of KSPMM and above will have fixed this issue.
15. @EnhancedCookie, Yes, I am Norwegian. @Sirscott, are you having the same problem as last time? From what I understand, there was something wrong with the ionic.zip.dll. You could try this one then, Ionic.Zip.dll. If it still doesn\'t work, then we have to find another solution.
16. I\'m glad to hear that. And if you encounter any more problems. Be sure to let us know.
17. Yep, works great. Just finished the Redirect page. With a history that saves the links used. And a time-stamp. Here\'s the link if anyone\'s interested in linking their mods to kspmm:// on the forums. Or by any other means. http://kspmm.norway174.com/Redirect/?m= Simply add the directlink, with kspmm instead of http after the 'm='. And your good to go.
18. Another idea would be to search for the lines needing edit. Such as the version number. Like I\'m doing with my mod manager to find out what type of ship it is. If it\'s SPH or VAB. I think something similar could be done here too. Here\'s the function I created to use in the mod manager. Dim CraftFileTxt As String = File.ReadAllText(CraftFile) Dim location1 As Integer = CraftFileTxt.IndexOf('type = ') CraftFileTxt = CraftFileTxt.Substring(location1 + 7, 3) If CraftFileTxt = 'SPH' Then Return 'SPH' Else Return 'VAB' End If End FunctionFunction ReadCraftType(ByVal CraftFile) Feel to use, modify, redistribute and all that. Other than that, awesome application. Very useful.
19. Yeah, a 'masterlist' is coming. Working with Jgjiscool to set up a web-host. So we can host a database. The one mod you see downloadable right now was more or less just a test. And a mod we\'d put on our front page. Thanks for the great feedback too.
20. That is quite strange. Does it work if you try and start it normal way? If my associate, Semininja, can\'t help you solve the problem. I\'ll be available on the Official KSP channel in about half an hour for a private chat to see if we can solve this problem.
21. It also occurs on start up. Thanks for any help! Could you provide me with the URL? Is the file a .zip? And is the Ionic.zip.dll in the same folder as the Kerbal Mod Manager.exe?
