I found it on spaceport, as I too thought of it when I saw this thread. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/hyperjump-system/ I also abused it slightly by just flying massive ships to 2 KM and warping them into orbit XD.

I can now replace the touchy lazor missiles that I currently use to destroy my old endpoint beacons. The 11 kerbals that man my hyperjump relay carrier thank you.
