[1.10.0] Final Frontier - kerbal individual merits 1.10.0-3485
nebfer replied to Nereid's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yep this seems to have been the issue for me, was at quarter res, bumped it to full and their they are, they also show up in half res as well, but in quarter res or eighth res they only show up as black blocks. -

I'm not, or at lest I do not know if I am, it's just when looking up the problem (all ribbons being black in game, that is they show up as a black bar, the interface is just fine, it's like the ribbons are not loading correctly?), I ran into a few old posts (around page 20 of this thread no less) that describe this problem and mention ATM. Im running a fresh install, and only have a few mods installed (Kerbal engineer, Docking port alignment, experiment tracker and scansat, aside this one). -

Not sure if it's not working right with 1.41 or the new DLC, but when running with the New DLC the Ribbons are all black, looking it up it seems previous problems had something to do with Active Texture Management? -

Help getting the mod to work. Me and some friends where trying to get the mod to work, but none of use seems to be able to connect to the server, that we set up. None of us could connect to the host, at best saying it could not connect due it timing out or that the host was not responding in a timely manor. None of us could think of anything being done wrong. host started up the server, and we trying to join, entered the IP and port, but none could connect.

How dose one get rid of the orbiting spend stages? I got a number of them and would like to get rid of them, but I can not seem to end their flights like I can with the crew capsules.

The early Atlas rockets used what the OP is talking about, basically the structure of the rocket is not strong enough to support it\'s own weight if it was unpressurized. The advantage being a slightly higher fuel to weight ratio, but at the cost of requiring the rocket be pressurized at all times. Now days most rockets are built with enough strength to do away with this. In game this could be simulated with a fuel tank having a slightly higher fuel load per a given tonnage but at the cost of being very weak...

How Do I Get to the Moon?
nebfer replied to Bolovan's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Well I figured out how to get to the moon but how do I get back? every time I tried I end up in orbit around the sun... or out of fuel in a real big orbit around kerban.... what do I aim at on the nav ball to return? -
Well to scale for Kerbals I would think a B-tech Union would be around 12-15 meters. Their what a foot tall? considering that three can fit in a 1m capsule... Never mind the absurd fuel efficiency of Battletech fusion engines (all military dropships use 1.84 tons (metric) of regular hydrogen per day at 1G acceleration).

THE ULTIMATE ORBIT-BASED LUNAR SMACKDOOOOOOWN
nebfer replied to NovaSilisko's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Ah so I'm not the only one having this problem. -
This is the problem I'm having... had a rocket with 3x3 meter long tanks and the 7x connector plate with 7 engines, and a second stage of a 2x meter long. and the thing would tilt over after lift off, no mater how many SAS I put on (at one point I had like 30 of thoughs new SAS modules that came with the pack...).
