wow... i get a warning for "trolling" stupid comments because i am adding nothing usefull to a thread... where do you get off uppping this guy for that... sounds to me like ur the one with the problem... i got all the information he was trying to present.. which i found interesting seriously.. if your going to dedicate your life to being a grammar and punctuation nazi in this day and age ... you have a long boring road ahead of you .. the world is fastly accommodating the lowest common denominator get with it or abandon ship

Do you think I could get an Arduino into orbit?
spl1nt replied to nhnifong's topic in Science & Spaceflight
yeah .. definitely seek faa approval due to airspace issues and from what i can gather .. u want a sail to solar power your payload?? that might be harder but this could be interesting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtXquYhY7wo at least the faa seem to want to help .. rather than flat out say no and have u try it anyway lol maybe a combination?? a balloon to get to 100k feet and then drop a rocket to launch ... i dare say you will need to find out more about legalities and international procedures with things in orbit ... i remember hearing that norad tracked everything in orbit bigger than a piece of chalk?? anyone know if thats true? -
cheers m8 thnx for info

yeah .. no update needed ... this thing is awesome.. handles brilliantly .. i was flyin around duna at 30m/s without a prob... i just attached chutes to it .. eva'd into my demv ejected on a shallow dive and parachuted in .. lots of fun i now put detachable legs to the sides for more chance of an upright landing in bad terrain

Dealing With SAS Oscillations

overall the asas and mechjeb need to fine tune the multiplier going to the controls..even the slightest wobble with high g's can tear a fairly sturdy rocket to pieces... you can help it by using less controls.. eg less rcs thrusters... an engine with lower gimbal range... but this makes maneuvering harder -

How much RAM do you need to Run KSP Smoothly with no lag
spl1nt replied to cocomoe1002's topic in KSP1 Discussion
phenom x4 quad core 64bit 16gb ram 2gb ati.... i can understand more parts=lag... but i think the amount of lag produced for the visuals presented are a letdown...why should a game like kerbal lag more than bf3 on maxxed out settings @ 1600x1200 (i play kerbal at 1024x768 with mid settings)
