You bring up an interesting point, but I think it may be the other way around. The farther away you are from the sun, the larger effect a smaller amount of energy will have on your trajectory.

I don't think anybody would be able to answer that for certain.

How long in actual (not in-game) time has it taken you so far? Before I get started, I want to have an idea of what I\'m getting into.

This is an interesting idea. I will definitely be trying this later. I have a plane already that I want to try this out with.
