  1. Dnaha, First off welcome to the forums. The launch clamp bug is a stock bug that only the KSP Devs can fix. The best thing you can do is make sure your clamps are as low on the ship as possible. Also don't use the FASA clamps
  2. Well i cant argue with that! lol Also i agree with your findings with the CoL being off center.
  3. Thew cockpit alread uses rpm. What dont you guys like about the cockpit?
  4. The ET textures in the pack i sebt you have the pink strip removed already
  5. Do you have tweakable everything? @cheech. so to be specific the oms engines run correctly, then run out of fuel, then if you increase thrust after they run out of fuel it has the flame effect but no thrust. This is correct.
  6. I think i found the problem with the gear flexing too much.
  7. Aero changes are bad. lol Edit: Maybe not i had the prograde sas on lol. - - - Updated - - - Oh and the OMS engines run with no fuel lol - - - Updated - - - No thrust just effects. We will get this thing updated eventualy - - - Updated - - - flies good with the aero changes.
  8. I made a lighter booster texture to look more realistic so i added it any way. And you can take my files and use them to save you some time editing all the other configs - - - Updated - - - Ok here is what the two Booster textures look like.   9. I will give you my CSS Folder. I just added your aero changes. I will add the texture switch to the 5segmentBooster2 and upload it for you. Give me 10 min to test it.
  10. They are perfect Mike. The 5segmentBooster2 is the one that fits best. Im just having issues with the new decoupler. I like the old one better anyway. It dont requier any struts. I have also converted the 5segmentBooster2 to dds and made the color match the nose cones alot better. I also think you should stick with the Firespitter FSTextureSwitch 2 Module tha way we can lower the number of dependencies.

  12. sounds good to me. If you can get the boosters and ET to line up like in this pic http://thevirtualastronaut.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/STSstack.jpg that would be great. Also i figured out what part of tweakable everything was messing it up. It was the tweakable staging dll. I removed it and its all working great now. Here is my CSS folder for you to look at. Its a KSP bug so we cant fix it but they will reappear during flight and explode your ship.
  13. Im doing the same. The issue i was haveing was it was messing up my fstextureswitch 2 stuff. - - - Updated - - - Ok it was the tweakable staging that was messing my stuff up.
  14. I agree wit sp1989. You should 'chop off' the top section of the sls5 properly in the model editor so it wont be distorted. It will then just be a 4 section. - - - Updated - - - Also the node thing i was talking about if you look at the assembled craft there is a gap between the ET struts and the shuttle connecting it at the top.
  15. I was talkin about the old ones that are still in the download. If they were just longer to line up with the decouplers they would be perfect. I have all the firesitter stuff working now. I redid all the FSTextueSwitch 2 configs and edited my tweakable everything and its working so far. Ill post my files when im done but they are from update 4. What all did you change in 5?
  16. We need to go through all the tweakable everything dlls 1 by 1 and fid out which on is messing things up. So far i got solar panels and eva tweakables in and deleted the rest and its working so far.
  17. smjjames i belive its just broken all around. Needs to be put back to using KSP tweakables.

  20. You should stick with only one texture switcher plugin. Id say keep firespitter.
  21. No FAR just stock aero. I changed the mass of the engine mounts and it helped hut try the lifting body thing. The CoM Needs to be right in front of the CoL. Edit: Ok i changed the mass of the engine mount from 2 to 8 and it flies much better on launch and reentry
