This piece of junk
-
I would have to agree with Sequence here. He pretty much nailed it. There's a difference between constructive criticism and whining.
-
Pretty nice, most F-16s in KSP turn out fairly... badly. Not the case here as far as I can see.
-
Still aerobraking around Kerbin, out of fuel.

Zekes stop trying to be Russia. Unless you send that MiG-17 to space. -

Un-named 4x4. C-130 look-alike, 100% stock with an interior. U-2 replica with a small drone. -
Nothing right now.

Break something. -
I approve this hate for consoles. They give gamers a bad reputation.

So I'm back and only to find the user account has been restored…

Damn it. I hate when this happens.... -
This is my first attempt at something that goes interplanetary, and it turned out pretty well. The landing on Duna was okay, although I did knock the MMI engine off by accident since the landing site was on a steep hill. This rocket is not designed to return to Kerbin. Mods used: MechJeb, Mechanical Mouse Industries Satellite Pack. Instructions for flight: Stage 8 (Ascent Stage). Engage MechJeb Kill-rot, apply full throttle for the first 5 seconds during launch before decreasing throttle about 2 notches. Hold throttle there until fuel has been spent. Stage 7-5 (Circularizing Stage). Decouple, cut throttle and engage SRBs. After SRBs are spent decouple them. Circularize orbit after reaching Apoapsis using Rockomax Mainsail. If you're like me you'll use any extra fuel from this stage to help Stage 4-3's journey. Stage 4-3 (Interplanetary Stage). Decouple and A. increase orbit to transfer to Mun/Minmus. B. Escape Kerbin's gravitational pull and perform an injection burn to another planet. Stage 2-0 (Lander Stage). Decouple from the Interplanetary stage after reaching a suborbital trajectory with the body in question. Perform landing according to your standards. Parachute recommended if landing on Eve, Duna, Laythe, or Kerbin.

[Teaser] Apollo style Mun Lander: ML-Mk II
Steamtex replied to deskjetser's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Tricky, man. I like it. -
Why no mods? It's only possible to complete it with sanity if you use a docking mod. (at least, if you mean a space station in the traditional sense)

Pushtank Biplane - Flying to Duna in style!
Steamtex replied to geb's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
You are a genius, OP. Why didn't I think of this design?! -
This took me about 20 minutes to make. Also, control surfaces. Control surfaces everywhere. Not only does it have 18 control surfaces, it also has at LEAST 14 airbrakes. And I shoved a bunch of RCS thrusters on it, too. Requires the Aviation Lights mod by BigNose, Airbrake by Vlad, MechJeb, and the Modular Missiles pack by JellyCube/JellyGoggles. Statistics: Lifts off at around 60m/s - Top speed at 280m above sea level with full combat load is 170m/s. - Equipped with one AR202 Autopilot. Pictures!

The next generation in Kerbin air defense: The X-02 Wyvern
Steamtex replied to brett6781's topic in KSP Fan Works
Simply awesome. -
*Ding!* We have a winner! Now start guessing the first one!
-
Certainly not. an X-37 has those two little tailfins on the hull and not the wings. It is an X-## spacecraft, though. Hint: it had 10 planned missions.
-
Okay, fine. I'll post something here. First up, the highly unstable prototype! Then, the one not many people know about!
-
Off of the top of my head, I'll go with it's a Ju-52.
-
I saw a helmet fly by the Kerbal on the Mun at the main menu at high speed once and bounce along the ground over by that mountain range, like a soccer/football.
-
Amazing. Does it handle well?
