  1. Tried to make my own ion glider, took a few wrong turns, used too much parts. But anyway, I like how it looks. And, due to some KSP bug it is can still fly pretty good. It gains unnatural acceleration on sharp turns around 90 degrees. The first control module is placed horizontally, and the nav sphere is disoriented at launch. Its still flyable this way but if you want a proper working navigation - switch to control from backup OKTO2 which is on a back side of the nose cone. Or just get a kerbal on the seat. So uh, have fun. http://imgur.com/a/Rg6BN#0 Shortbow A.craft Shortbow B.craft
  2. It uses plane gears as a prop to avoid turnovers and crushing on hi speed.
  3. There was an atomic engine version at the beginning of development, but due to a lack of motivation the project concluded at the "Kerbin funmobile" stage. =) No tests for other worlds yet. Honestly, all the flying this thing seen till now, is all those crushing and rolling in the air last seconds
  4. So uh, hi everyone. I started this one with an intention of making simple vehicle to roam some kerbals around KSC during test launches etc. And then happened what I now call the "KSP Effect". It smoothly run kerbin surface at 40-50m/s. Can turn quite well at this speeds, with almost no risk of being screwed. A few action groups are: 1 - turn TurboJet engine on/off. 2 - rear wheels steering lock\unlock (locking increases stability while turning drastically). B - breaks =) - but only with the rear wheels, so it can break stable too. G - yeah, gears, raise or lower them if you want, but leaving them lowered makes all the difference in turn stability. Gears also happen to ensure some safety on wheel damage. Have fun. craft file
  5. I`m not sure it can be called a "rover". craft file
