I just had a lander hover perfectly above the ocean before it ran out of fuel, I was hoping it would float but on impact I was just left with the command capsule. If I can just get my second lander (with a crew tank) to hover the same way and put a loooong ladder on it, we\'ll be set! Also, only just found out Kerbals can swim. Thunderbirds FTW!

July 28, 2012 Media Advisory K11-002 Intrepid Astronaut Ed Kerman Stranded In Solar Orbit KERBAL SPACE CENTRE TRACKING STATION, Ker -- Media representatives from all corners of Kerbin are invited to cover 'Kerman Rescue, KSP Plays a Part', a challenge thread in which brave Kerbal Space Engineers attempt to rescue Ed Kerman from solar orbit. Ed only has 1% of his fuel left since he was advised to keep some in reserve even after the last-ditch attempt to avoid escaping the Munar sphere of influence, so a very close rendezvous will be necessary. It is imperative he is recovered as quickly as possible - a state-of-the-art space suit has preserved his life for 50 days already, and we have reason to believe it will cease to function after a short while.
