I've been playing around with the small control surface, trying to make a small deployable flap however no matter what I change the flap always points up when in use. Rotating it in the hanger doesn't affect it and a standard flap attached to the same craft and wing operates normally. I've compared my cfg to the small control surface and standard flap cfgs to make sure I haven't flipped an axis somewhere but nothing is standing out that shouldn't. This may be related to the bug you're looking into from narcillian. I've uploaded the cfg file I'm using incase I'm missing something, but I think the problem may lay elsewhere. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4030375/part.cfg

Since this precludes the use of other mod parts (if you want to preserve the drag model properly) how difficult/easy is it for the average user to integrate these changes into their mods of choice?

I've just posted what amounts to the exact same thing in a different thread. It's an interesting idea (if I do say so myself) and I believe Kerbol is, or was setup like this; a bodyless point of gravity, although it was static.

I don't see why lagrange points can't be added as points of gravity without a physical body, Kerbol is setup like this but static. Just place them on rails and give them slightly different orbital characteristics so they track where they would normally be if an n-body system were in effect.

Oh wow, I\'ve recently been playing around in universal sandbox and was wondering how long it would be for asteroids to turn up in KSP. No time at all apparently. Damn I love this modding community! Gonna set a couple on elliptical orbits around Kerbol and see if I can intercept them.

Do you have a link White Owl? All my searches turn up a GPU overclocking utility. Nevermind I jumped the gun there, turns out it\'s ALSO a capture program hidden behind an overclocker. Gonna have a play around with it now.

Does anyone have the alpha? The original website went down a few days ago. It\'s now hosted at http://preendog.com but the demo isn\'t available now it seems. I\'ve read good things at RPS and TIGSource but I\'m sure this outage isn\'t doing the funding drive any good. What a shame.
