I tried to land on the Mun but i have problem with killing my horizontal velocity, I heard that MechJeb is god autopilot, I thought this could help me reduce horizontal velocity, during landing

I built the Saturn V rocket on the basis that she could send a three persons capsule, which reached orbit around Mun, but unfortunately was unable to carry the lander. I built another rocket this time based on default Kerbal parts , it turned out even worse. I'm so desperate. Can anyone advise me how to perfect munar rocket, one friend advise me to send a one-man capsule, and build a smaller rocket, but then the bigger the better. Just see the Saturn V or N1 :-) I attached my project

This often happened to me when I play the KSP that one engine is ignited too late and the rocket curved and hit the ground, now it does not happen to me as often as before I think it could happen as apparently faked flight to the moon, after all, was few classified space shuttle missions, it was a joke, of course I have question whether the film was based on a book or a book based on the movie?

I like it to i watched this when was shown in TVP (Polish state tv) in Saturday Disney movie block, when i was kid. that's triggered my interest in Space. I read that's premiere of this show was postponed due resemblance to Challenger incident, the accidental launch of these kids was due faulty SRB, that's forced ground control to launch shuttle.

I already built a rocket that orbited around the moon and back I can not build a rocket that would be capable of landing on the moon. I wonder if someone has already built a rocket with a lander that would remind NASA projects. Design of the rocket and its pilot are completely two different things I managed to build several projects with the lander rocket, but unfortunately they are all too heavy and either explode at launch site or shortly after launch. Now I begin to regret that I bought this game but only a little:)

Sturts, how and where place it's Can you recomend me good decuplers, for FL-T16 and T32? I mean something that can cover the engine

Any of standard decoupler doesn't work, rocket fall apart
