Problem accessing WIKI [wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com]
Freak80MC replied to GeorgeG's topic in Kerbal Network
I have been having this same problem, and I thought I was the only one. Good to hear other people are having it as well and it's not just me. I hope it gets back up and running soon! -
VTOL with minimal tech, Hard Career Mode
Freak80MC replied to FunkyHoratio's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
It's funny to compare this to my career mode plane that I use for survey contracts. I went for an actual plane design, but since I didn't have landing gear wheels I just made like skis out of some girder pieces. (I have since now upgraded the plane to include some wheels) Only thing that sucks is I still don't have ladders and thus once the kerbals out on the surface, the mission has to end. (this really sucked when I had two survey contracts near to each other ) -
I usually just name my vessels random stuff I find on the internet or names that come to my mind. Like, for example I have a Kerbin orbiter craft named "Rosin", which I named after Michael Rosin the author. I have a craft named the "Yveltal" after the legendary pokemon from Pokemon Y. And when I finally build an SSTO in my career game, I already have a witty name picked out for it, the "Aether-On", a parody on the word aileron.

Maximum delta-V at Kerbin surface TWR >1.
Freak80MC replied to foamyesque's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I'd love to try this challenge, but I don't know if my computer could handle a rocket with more than 22000 m/s dV. (is it supposed to be dv or dV or does it matter? xD) -
May I just ask... What mod adds the icon with the face of that guy? o_0

This new KSP 0.90 is so challenging but i like challenge :D
Freak80MC replied to Pawelk198604's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I hear you. I both love and despise the limitations in career mode. It felt SOOO good when I was able to make a 3 ton lifter. I never thought I would say something like that! (;.;/:D) -
Low tech .90 recovery options?
Freak80MC replied to wumpus's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thank you for that mod! I have been looking for a stage recovery mod ever since DebRefund was never updated, and you were finally able to deliver! -
I found out about it two years ago (technically three now with it being 2015, but we're only 2 days in so I won't count it ) from Manice08 on youtube. He only did one video of it as he mainly did minecraft but from there I found more people to watch the game from, like Scott Manley and Pleborian.

Thanks for the tips and welcomings everyone.

Hey, thanks for the tip. Though, after messing with it a little bit, I think I like it staying on the main default toolbar at the top of the screen. So, this is just a suggestion, but on the mod's front page you should put some text explaining about right clicking the button for the main options and the options to put it on Blizzy's toolbar, as it was hard for me to figure out because I don't think there was an explanation about how to do this anywhere else.

If your up to getting mods, there is a great one called Kerbal Engineer Redux that shows you calculations for Delta-V, TWR, mass, and stuff like that. It even shows this information for the different bodies in the Kerbol system, if you plan on your ship going to those bodies. It is a really great tool and I love using it as I don't need to keep guess and checking if my ship has enough fuel for my needs!

I just wanted to say hello and welcome to my fellow Kerbonauts! Even though it says I joined in 2012, I have no idea why I even made an account as I never got on or made posts or anything and kind of just forgot about the whole thing. So I am going to use this as my introduction to the forums, and hopefully I can stay active this time. So before I end this, I wanted to ask one thing that is bugging me. Is there a way to get notifications from a thread you want to keep track of? Because I had made a thread about a problem I was having with 0.90.0 and I never got any notifications from it, so I had to keep manually checking back in. Well thank you for reading this and hopefully I enjoy my stay on the forum!
