I've been running into an odd bug using this mod where if I quick-load or switch between crafts after ejecting the anchor piece of said craft (the piece initially chosen to build the craft off of) it only loads an engine with its fairing still attached and particle effects coming out. -

Nice! What an awesome plug in. I have two screens, so I would have to pan my camera a bit. What I really want it to have one screen on my ship and one in map view at the same time. Do you know if there is a plug-in to do that? -

(Note: the central two tanks are actually rocket fuel, via a cfg edit. They have the same exact stats as the FL-T400, but they look nicer) Do you have a .craft file for it? I would love to take it for a spin. -

Thanks! I appreciate you uploading the craft files as well! That's a beautiful craft. The screencaps are from my original orbital model in 1.5. It has quite a ways to go in 1.7, and even if it did make orbit, I doubt I would have the fuel left to do a deorbital burn or make a rendezvous :/ -

Sorry about leaving that out: It does not reach orbit. It controls decently when I have the mechjeb kill rotation on. -
Hello All, In 1.5 I had a great little space plane I called the Chariot. However, it seems 1.7 has changed enough where the design no longer works if I recreate it EDIT: There is not enough fuel to reach orbit. Does anyone have a good starting place for a single stage to orbit space plane? My thought is if I can make a fairly light one like my original chariot, I can refuel it in orbit using the refueling mod, dock it with a mother ship, bring it to Duna, land, get back into Orbit, re-dock, and bring her home again. But this all hinges on being able to recreate a ship like my original Chariot (Screenshots from orbital 1.5 model): Thanks for anyone who answers! Quick question about this mod: I have my persistent debris set to 25 to keep my processor from being overtaxed. Do remote controlled debris count as debris or manned vessels? Will my satellites dissapear as the debris limit is hit, or will they stay in he current flights list? Thanks -
For some reason I can't get the Soyez panels to give me power. I am having the same problem with the VB panels. Some panels I got form mechanical mouse are working just fine for charging batteries and powering ion engines, am I missing something? I think I installed all the necessary plug-ins, otherwise I dont know how mechanical mouse would be working.

Impact of community mods to the released version.

I think if there were a multiplayer with a leaderboard there should be two, one with vanilla players\' stats and another for mods with two tabs, one showing overall stats and the other with the player\'s name, and next to it the name of mods that person has used in that craft. This seems like the ideal solution to me. Everyone wins. -
Hey all, I am a little new to the forums and mods, so I thought I would ask what mods you all would recommend. It would be nice to have a thread where new players can go to look a list up with a brief description of what each does and a little clarification on some of the nomenclature used. For instance, the term "MuMech" pops up a lot, and while I understand it has something to do with MechJeb (which is the first mod I installed and love), I do not always understand the parts and contexts in which it is used Right now, I have MechJeb, Orbital and Planetary Construction, and Electrical Power (though I cant figure out how to install that one. There are a lot of files in a "source" folder which does not seem to have an equivalent in the KSP folder.) I am sure there are threads like this already, but as it seems like the community has moved forums, and all of the old links are broken, it might be nice to start fresh with new, unbroken links to current mods. What I am looking for specifically is solar powered rockets/ion engines, nav lights, rovers (big Trak looks great but doesnt appear to be updated for 1.6 yet), and anything else you guys think improves the KSP experience.
