  1. For your viewing pleasure, here is a station I am currently building using your fantastic expansion parts at the core of the design: One thing I noticed while working on this mission is that due to the 0.21 changes, you must include a ASAS unit in order for MechJeb2 and normal flight to be of much aid during docking. This slightly takes away from the aesthetic of the station as you will notice in the above picture. If I can make a suggestion is that if you are adding RCS to the pods, you add in a toggle for a ASAS unit. That or create a part with a small volume which can easily be attached inline or radially. - Joe
  2. This is looking absolutely fantastic. I must commend your texturing abilities. I cannot wait to see this in the game. As for the engines, may I suggest a similar design to the Kliper? Warm Regards, Joe
  3. Just curious, but about when are IVAs coming around? They're probably at the tail end of updates, but station IVAs are one thing I've wanted for a long time. Also, you've mentioned how you'd like these parts to also be used on planet bases. How will the IVAs be handling surface orientation? - Joe
  4. I'm very much so enjoying the texture work you've done on the cargo bay. The parts look like they'll fit in with the stock parts rather well. Also, how will you be handling RCS ports on this shuttle? Warm Regards, Joe
  5. Hey Helldiver, I think a 2-2.5 meter shuttle would be fantastic. That should be a favorable size for everyone. I just saw your update on the textures. They look absolutely fantastic and I must say, I do like the green interior of the cargo bay, even if it is temporary. Keep us all updated as you progress. This thing is gunna be hella fun to fly. Also you may want to look at this mod if you need ideas for the internal cockpit layout: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/mk3-cockpit-internals/ - Joe
  6. I'm really looking forward to this mod. I personally love the design of small shuttles and the Klipper, but don't use them because they don't fit the style of KSP. I really hope that when you do the texturing, you keep to a simple palette. Thanks for your hard work and fantastic job creating a compact design. Warm Regards, Joe
  7. This is looking pretty damn sexy. I can't wait to try some of this out. FusTek's parts have been the best looking station parts I've seen go all the way through development, so I can't wait to see what else you release for this add-on mod. Warm Regards, Joe
  8. Fantastic job on the documentary. I look forward to more of this series if you plan to continue it. Warm Regards, Joe
  9. One question that I have about this really fantastic addon: How do we handle multiple missions on a single body? For example, I am building an outpost around Minmus that will serve as my Kethane post in the Kerbin system. This will consist of a station in orbit, a resupply/ferry capsule, a landed base, a Kethane probe in a polar orbit, and a Kethane drilling unit on the ground. It would be nice to have a ribbon for each active mission. Basically, it would be nice to include an option to include multiple ribbons for each body. Only problem that may come of this is the overall size of the ribbon bar in the vertical direction ... Warm Regards, Joe
  10. You can always upload them to SpacePort as flag packs. You also have this option: upload the flag and each art asset used to imgur.com and post the gallery here. Easy way to display everything and keep things simple. I'd suggest storing each of the assets as transparent background .PNGs. Easiest way for others to use the assets. Warm Regards, Joe
  11. We might want to try setting up a server for the following mod: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/24926-0-20-Kerbal-LiveFeed-Passive-Multiplayer-Plugin-Client-Server-v0-6-6 That way we could see what everyone is doing in real time. Might be a good idea so that people can still share the information without having to wait for a save file to get passed around. Warm Regards, Joe
  12. I'm with you, I haven't even been able to do anything yet. :|| - Joe
  13. The Kerbal Space Initiative will be glad to lend a helping hand. I'm a physics and mathematics major and enjoy more scientific endeavors like these. Warm Regards, Joe
  14. Hey Saik0, Everything is looking absolutely amazing. Good to see you have a github made for the source. I look forward to seeing how you're going about generating the maps. Warm Regards, Joe
  15. I'm with Panichio on this. Would be great to know how you got the high res textures. Warm Regards, Joe
  16. Hey Saiko, I must say I am loving the fact that someone other than myself has expressed interest in mapping the Kerbol system. I have been working with JS and developing webpages for god knows how long and would be willing to aid you in this project. Most of your suggestions in the OP seem to be pretty simple and easily done given enough time. My semester of school is just about done and could really use a project like this to keep me occupied. Send me a PM or message me on Skype @ adulese (I am on there 24/7). Warm Regards, Joe
  17. I'd like to place an order for a Mun/Minmus capable ship that can send Dragon Rider Pod into orbit and land using Mechjeb. Preferable, this ship will touch down near Mun/Minmus Bases and shuttle a large number of crewman back and forth. Also, a Mun/Minmus orbital rocket capable of sending colony parts (such as ExPI's Station parts and CrewTanks) would be amazing. I can handle the decent stage for these custom parts, but I need a rocket with a large enough hull that I can fit a 2-3 meter diameter by 10 meter tall object in it. The general idea is to place these parts into orbit, land, and then use wheels to move them into docking formation. Also, a minimalist design for an un-manned atmospheric probe/beacon that can land on the surface of a planet would be amazing. This would allow us to study the planet's atmosphere for future aerobreaking technologies. Any of these rockets will greatly aid in the understanding of the geology of the neighboring planets. Warm Regards, Joe
  18. I'm actually enjoying this style as well. I really love having a nice minimalist and clean design for things as high-tiered as space stations. I look forward to seeing how the probes will act when they are done. Pelf, are you going to be having the rovers travel in a heat shield and then roll out of it? Cause the main thing I always wonder about is the impact on the surface of the planet. - Joe
  19. I'm really liking this rover. I can't wait for the release so I can start sending probes. I've never been able to do a good-old fashion rover mission. As for scale, I'd suggest leaving it at about 0.5 meter tall. Can't make them too large considering the size of Kerbals and their rockets. - Joe
  20. Loving the clean look of the crafts. Question, are these solar panels compatible with EPS and ZO2? I'm looking into setting up several orbital bases after my com links are deployed and would love to use your designs. Also, with the SpaceBuild mod, are any of these parts compatible with that? If not, how is the docking system working for part connections? Thanks in advance. - Joe
