You would need to counteract the force comming from the engines that are using their exaust to push it. Soo try put the same amount of rockets on both ends to stop it from deorbiting Edit. Sorry i didn't read your entire thing. It might work but im not sure if kerbal has wind effects :/

Yea its hard to dock at a low orbit because both the craft move a lot more when your not controling it. I find that the easiest docking is anywhere above 200km

yea the MAX height i have achieved with a jet engine was 15 k but you really need to use a rocket to get any higher

Yea whenever i get my centrifuge spinning it doesnt deorbit but it starts losing control.

How about mixing the centrifuge and the piston idea into 1?

I thought there was going to be gravity and air density changes in 0.17? Anyway it shouldnt be too hard as you can just slingshot past the mun or minimus.

Yea you can either hit g or click on the landing ears and click extend

When i try to do a rendavous the space station keeps rotating even when i hav'nt bumped it. Any tips to help stop this?
