  1. Hey everyone, Thanks for all the positive feedback Be sure to keep an eye out for part 2
  2. Hahaha! Just imagine that ingame Brilliant!
  3. KSC we have a problem.... Last known image taken after successful landing on the Mun... More to come PS. Click on image after it opened for full resolution..
  4. Ah, ok... Makes kinda sense... Is it just me or would it be nice to get a tutorial on this? Or even some form of write-up? If I press a button and nothing works, I assume its broken... or an IO error. Where did you guys get the info from?
  5. Hey Guys, Hope all is good... On my side its not.. I assume this has been asked before, but I cannot seem to find the relative information. My question is this: - I have RemoteTech RemoteControl and RemoteCommand. I attached antennas to both my 3 manned ship (default setting in CFG file) but I cannot seem to control my probe.. What parts do I need for a probe and how do I go about controlling it? I would really like to get some probes out with the "Rover Wheels" made by Yogui, for my mega exploration effort. Any assistance would be highly appreciated
  6. Hey there again! Would just like to give you all a BIG THANK YOU again, I've made it to the moon, and Minmus
  7. Thanks guys (and/or girls)... Not only for the replies, but for the great game, and
  8. Thank you Fendleton. I actually feel a bit stupid right now.. After I posted this I went to the welcoming forum, and found the Orbital Mechanics 101 :? (Stupid me) which has all the videos needed (but your reply is like all the videos in one ) Thanks, its good to have multiple insights and explanations if you do something other than in the videos.
  9. Gooood day fellow Kerbanauts! Hope all is good in the Kerbal Universe I've been playing KSP for some time now, and could never really get anywhere, but when I did, I never knew what to do.... Until I discovered the forum and all the Einstein replica's therein I've always found interest in Astronomy and Space travel, but never knew enough to do more (except now, with my own little space sim ). Currently, I'm only trying to get to the moon, but soon enough, I will put my creative skills at work and start making some models and/or add-ons, as I have quite some experience with 3ds Max, Photoshop and Unity. Might need to have a look at the SDK first though Well, from a lekker warm summers day in South Africa, I wish you all the best in your endeavors Keep it lateral
  10. Hey there guys, Hope all is good... I've finally managed to get a ship into a semi-perfect orbit around Kerbin at 310,000m and a velocity of 2000m/s. Currently, I have no idea when to change my heading for the moon, due to unkown movement of the moon and all the rest there is to know. If I understand correctly, it will be easy to change my trajectory (without to much effort and fuel) once I reach Periapsis (or is it Apoapsis?). I've read through the tutorials but could not find my current situation (perhaps I read wrong or did not understand completely). I have attached / linked screenshots for all you elite kerbanauts to assist in ideas. Any feedback or response would be much appreciated
  11. Thanks, always wondered what they were for Great stuff, thanks! Quite a helper Thank you, I've managed to get a few shuttles into earths orbit, and stuff is starting to make sense now. Just have to figure out what to do when my trajectory turns yellow and other stuff pop up (mun periapsis and mun escape <- bad one). Thanks again
  12. Thanks for all your replies, will give it a shot tonight Another thing I forgot to ask though, can one set waypoints / target anywhere in the game? Ive noticed the purple and yellow "targets" on the navball, but got no clue on what it is :? Thanks guys
  13. Good day fellow electronic astronauts! Hope all is good in the kerbal universe I've built a few ships (well, actually, 30 of them) but I cannot seem to get it quite right... I've managed to put 2 ships into the sun's orbit, but none into the moon. The nice thing about the tracking station is the trajectory it draws for you, but is there anyway to implement it directly into where you control your ship? Another question if I may: Is there any setting available which shows your ship's mass / thrust / total fuel and any other needed stats? Thanks in advance PS. If any of the above questions has been asked before, my greatest apologies. In such case I shall request an admin to delete this thread.
