none of that **** worked guys! he was knocked out leaning over a fuel tank, so I thought that was the problem. I launched a rescue mission, knocked him off the tank with another brave kerbonaut, and that fixed it.
Very much so. I have umpteen parachutes attached. But I am going to add more fuel tanks and a lot more landing gear, that aren't jettisoned after takeoff.
Note it's maximum altitude is 16,000 meters and the fastest I have seen it flying level was 800 m/s at 15,000 meters That's about 1600 knots or roughly 1800 MPH!
Sticky keys claims another victim..... My aircraft had just completed the 15 minute journey across the sea from the KSS and as I was adjusting the throttle for landing sticky keys kicks in and kills me. fab.
I finally made a large aircraft that flies long distances. its about 6 MK3 fuel tanks long, has 6 basic jet engines (for takeoff/landing) and 8 turbojets for cruising at 12,000 metres at a speed of 600 m/s will post pics soon.
Good news is, I finally landed a Kerbal on the moon! And at night, too. Bad news is, we have lost all contact with the Kerbal Orbital Platform and a satellite sharing a close orbit. We shall always remember those three, brave Kerbanauts.
How do you fly your rockets/planes/missiles/fireworks? I usually bind all the important controls to my Saitek Cyborg X Joystick, and use the keyboard for rarely used keys and EVA's.
