A few of the prop engines aren't stock compatible, I had to change the two griffons and the BMW IIIa to use liquidfuel rather than kerosene. -

Correct. When will this be fixed? I can deal with all the other problems for the most part, but this is a core feature! -

I so, so want to use this mod, but in the state it's in, I just can't justify it. It has such an awesome premise, and when it does work it's glorious, but right now, half of the mod (the prop engines and helis) are totally broken, it has a nasty habit of giving me a blank part catalog, a lot of the engines are weirdly sized, and there's poor compatibility with non-RF installs. If those were all reasonably fixed, this would be so cool, but now? Fix plz -

Out of interest, (when they actually work) do the props in AJE use FAR to generate thrust independently from the stock thrust mechanism? If so how does this affect plane building? God I wish they worked -

That was the case pre-0.24, but now they do only produce a tiny amount of thrust, every engine is the same -

Camlost, Nathan - any chance of fixing the props and rotors? They all have either 5 or 100 thrust, totally broken. -

Interesting. I've never tried it at high altitudes, I just give up and end up using all manual control. Don't know what I'd do if I wasn't using a joystick.

Surprised no one has ever brought this up, but the all new spaceplane friendly SAS still doesn't work with FAR. At all. It either randomly oscillates up and down or just does nothing. And the FAR yaw damper, wing leveler etc. have never worked for me.

I've been trying to make one of these for about the last 2 weeks, and I've finally succeeded. It's not useful at all, it can just barely, and I mean barely make it to a 70km orbit and back, so it's more of a proof of concept type thing. To fly this the TAC Fuel Balancer mod is 100% essential or the craft just flips out as soon as you get below about 1/4 fuel on ascent. Other mods used are B9, Taverio's pack, PWings and AIES Aerospace for the X-3B engines. I also used mechjeb for the orbit info window, as you definitely don't have time to check in map view whilst you're ascending! The plane ain't exactly a beauty to fly, twitch reflexes are needed to counter fuel balance changes. Anyway, here's the two planes mated on the pad. Just after takeoff. Speeding towards the 12000m launch height. Moments before separation! The VC-22 drops away and the X-3B screams towards orbit. 75km apoapsis is reached. In a stable orbit. Burning for deorbit with the 6% fuel I have left. Reentry begins. If anyone wants the craft file I'll upload it later.
