So this was my first Mun landing in 0.22. Note that I haven't done I Mun landing in a LONG time, and I wasn't goofing around on other planets, I was just barely getting orbit. Everything was going well in this mission, it launched just fine, made orbit at the Mun just fine, and landed awesomely! The landing was the last good thing in that mission... After I got a surface sample, planted a flag, and took the obligatory photo, I hopped back in the lander and though I had PLENTY of fuel. I was wrong. So it was that on this day, Jebediah Kerman took a short sub-orbital hop when attempt to come home from the Mun, and crashed hard into the Munar surface. So the Kerpollo 1 design was scraped and will be redesigned from scratch and tested beforehand in the future.

It transmits multiple sets of data at the same time. At least that's what I've found through my science experiments.

If they add a Uranus analog I'll never get to it the only other planet I've made it to is Duna! XD

It's also good to note that the LV-N Atomic Rocket Motor also has a horrible 220 ISP at sea level within atmosphere. While the LV-909 Liquid Fuel Engine has a 300 ISP at sea level within atmosphere. Most of the atomic engine's efficiency is wasted in the early atmosphere meaning it can't have the same chances as the LV-909 in th early atmosphere.

I always get the center of lift inside the bubble of center of mass, but also still behind it, that usually works out well.

This just means that your center of lift is behind your center of mass, you want the center of life to be just inside the center of mass, but still behind it.

Actually I'm planning to goto Minmus next, then maybe Duna. Sounds fantabulous. The landing on this mission was a bit rough, I smacked into the ground harder than I would have wanted to. Don't worry, he got to reunite with his family.

No, prob Minmus, I've tried Duna before, it didn't go we'll.

This mission took about 70 billion tries because apparently my rockets like exploding. But I got there. I suck at getting anywhere in Kerbal, so getting to the Mun is a pretty big deal for me.

Hey, could I get a flag that says "Bacontastic Space Program" that just uses the default flag. So what I want is just the "Kerbal" in the flag to be changed to Bacontastic. Thanks.

Games are meant for entertainment, so go ahead and use mods to entertain you even further.

There are already, they are just teeny.

Actually, it's what I've been using for a while, and the solid rocket boosters are just for this one because I had problems getting to the Mun without them. TIP: Cut the throttle when you disengage the big four orange tanks or else they'll crash into the central engine and cause to then lose some nice Delta V.

I wanted to make a tiny little lander, so the fuel tank is clipped inside of the cabin, it's gotta be a tight squeeze in there. And yea... I can upload, here's a tip though, you need to cut all power when you're detaching the big side tanks. During the ascent. You can download it here.

Thanks! =D But it fails a bit in that I had to finish the encounter with the orbital pod (this was also my first Apollo style mission that was successful) with the RCS backpack, but hey, Jeb loves that kind of stuff.

Geostationary orbit is when your ground speed is zero, so your orbital "falling" speed is 1000 m/s at the equator.
