  1. Hey @Kerbas_ad_astra, First off, thanks for all your amazing work maintaining this mod, It's always been one of my favorites. Just wanted to mention an Issue with the LV-909 Terrier engine. There seems to be a scaling issue with it as it no longer fits with 1m parts. also the lower attach node is very far beneath the part. Similar to how the RT10 Hammer was behaving before the recent fix.
  2. Hi There, So after getting a sat into orbit, I switched away to re-enter and land the debris. when I came back via the tracking station it looked like this: Note that there was also about 6 or 7 parts behind the scanning array that are just gone, and I looked they weren't in orbit. The other thing was that when I returned to the VAB to make another craft, I had placed about 10 parts and had just finished defining a fairing when the game would no longer let me select any parts, placed or not. the save/load/exit worked fine though. deleted that save and started a new one and same thing, no parts.
  3. Falcon mk III A nice 6-kerbal SSTO, which I like to launch with pair of Boosters (I know this disqualifies this configuration as SSTO, but it is orbit-capable without them) Flies really nice in the atmosphere and is probably the best SSTO I've ever designed. Only issue is the RCS which is underpowered but manageable. Pics: http://imgur.com/a/VfpGx Constellation MkIII A VTOL capable 20-Kerbal atmospheric transport. It flies how it looks ... heavy. But is pretty reliable and good fun to buzz KSC with. Pics: http://imgur.com/a/XoeID I will provide craft files if there's any interest. Blue Skies!
  4. So I guess the Space program doesn't pay well enough for Jeb... Has to go and do a bit of publicity for Channel 4 Wonder if he gets to keep the new suit
  5. Currently studying to be an aerospace engineer. Learned WAY more about orbital mechanics in KSP than I ever did in my lectures!
  6. I agree it probably is just another disaster movie, but at the same time, it does seem to be significantly more realistic than many other space films (bar Apollo 13). Dude, two words: ROCKET FUEL
  7. Hey guys, I don't know about you guys but I think this look pretty good: Seems to have fairly realistic physics, at least relative to how Hollywood normally does things. Best-case-scenario: KSP the Movie!
  8. I agree, the worst I've ever experienced was a particularly nasty 3.something g turn in a little Cessna 182. Made worse by the fact I was kneeling on the floor of the bloody thing at the time (no seats - skydiving plane).
  9. ^^^ Is it big enough to carry coconuts?
  10. You misunderstand, I was referring to the rover Spades_Neil was using, not whatever rover that camera mast is attached to...
  11. Ok, first of all, GREAT MOD! I only just started modding my game and this brings a great extra challenge. Second, I cant seem to find the line in the config file that controls the number of kerbonauts needed for a remote command to *ahem* command. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.
  12. Ehhh.... Curiosity doesn't have solar panels.... Looks way more like Spirit or Opportunity. .
  13. Even in our system, the moon laythe is based on, Europa, is considered one of the most promising locations for life outside of earth. The theory being that as well as heat from the tidal forces exerted by Jupiter, the thick layer of Ice would bock most of the radiation from the gas giant. As this ice is absent on laythe perhaps the atmosphere has a high humidity. Water vapour is actually a very powerful greenhouse gas so a little from column A and a little from column B
  14. Not sure about that, Some of my debris in kerbin orbit managed to intercept the mun. 2 pieces smashed into the surface, the rest was shot out to interplanetary space. Admittedly I was on the mun at the time. My suspicions were raised when an SRB hit the surface only a couple of kilometres from my landing site
  15. Titan- My large 3 kerbal exploratory orbiter. Armstrong- My munar/minmus lander Eco 1- The smallest craft I could build to get into orbit with tones of fuel. Used for testing orbital manoeuvres. Rover 1- A stock-built rover. Abandoned because the bloody thing wouldn't go in a straight line
  16. [quote=cocomoe1002;270370 heat reenrty too mabye
  17. unfortunately the physics engine in ksp can only simulate one gravity well at a time.. that means no lagrange points, but on the plus side it also means you wont get pulled out of munar orbit by kerbin
