Hey low-fi, for that ground effect, ass seen in heligopters you should check out snjos firespitter thread. A long way back he showed some pogress of that, he also had an hover engine wip so you should wrte him a line

How about a planet with the derelict Alien ship on it like in the movie "Alien". That would be very cool!
Yes! If you made an propmodel of an ship with lets say, doors or just hallow, you can place it and it could be like an old archelogic digging

Would it be possible to make, lets say, if the kerbal starts out with head1, after some time it switches to head1_older, etc . So we get a false ageing going ?

My my my, 32K tris! You may want to lower that a little if you want more than 1 frame per hour. And by a little I mean a lot. And by a lot, I mean ridiculously. It looks awesome, but at a tri count that high, this will be unplayable.
Amen, its the sad truth, also have you thought about making it in sort of modular fashion? So we can make the ship hw big or small as we like it? Still a great idea and your prgress is good!

Sorry that i wasnt so clear , Well, a kerbalhabitat module/dome, that is a commandpod but will act more like a house for our dear kerbals when put on the asteroids ^^

Ok so when I first played, I thought the cloud line as you pass through it looks really bad. So I found a way to fix it!
Set all the cloud textures to 95% more transparent:
Still has clouds though their more like a light cloud covering.
Well for me that defeats the upurpose, but everone has a right to choose what they like ofc
