I tried a few mods during 0.16 but just for two days. I prefer playing without mods, some of them look really cool and are really helpfull such as mechjeb, but achieving perfect orbits, randezvous, landings and completing missions successfully with stock rockets or spaceplanes is so satistying and fun ! And it is also much more challenging. Of course everyone is free to play the way they want . I advice new players or players that have never tried mods to try them at least once... they may improve your gameplay.

Ok, this is the moon way.. the only problem is that i have no idea on how to get form interplanetary space into the planet's moon SOI. http://i.imgur.com/IPEe0.png (not my screen) Instead this is me triyng to achieve an orbit without wasting fuel. It works, nearly : ship just gets dragged in, maybe with duna atmosphere it could work.

I've been trying to achieve a future orbit around a planet while in interplanetary space for a while, but the only thing i can do is to change my trajectory so that i can get directly in to the planet once i've entered it's SOI.

I've seen many screenshots on the forum of maps that showed a future orbit/trajectory in purple, but i can't find out how to see it, or add it. Please help me.

Jool is a gas giant and it's nearly impossible for a gas giant to have a solid surface, there was a thread with few posts commenting jool's possible surface. Anyway before you could reach the surface, your lander would explode due to the extreme pressure.

Randezvous orbiting Mun. Third one, but first one with a distance less than 100 km !

If you have some fuel left you can do some adjustments of your orbit and intercept kerbin's orbit

Had a kerbal left on a southern isle of kerbin ( went there during mission) but didnt have any fuel left ! After a few days i decided to go there and get him, felt sorry for him. So i tried to create a suborbital spaceplane with the 3man cockpit, after a fiew attmepts i gave up and made a normal atmospheric plane and after a looooong flight i landed on the isle.

That is a cool explosion, i bet there were SOME engines

Im going to edit my post with that info when i'll have enough time to test it till the fuel ends
