Welcome, i'm also a new player, after only 5 minutes of KSP gameplay i fell in love , probably as everyone else ! I hope you'll find everything you need on the forum, really good and helpful community.

Really love the new features. Beyond the new planets i'm looking forward to the new moons ! Escpecially the ocean one. Yes, i think you are right. I've been playing only with stock parts and i've been able to create some real good deep space rockets.

I also had this problem, but can't remeber exactly if i had something else on top of my Pod. Maybe check out the symmetry option, cause once i attached 8 parachutes on top the pod, but didnt notice it beacuse they were all sticked toghether, and had a structural failure while landing.

I made a big space station without any mod, once finished it took me at least one hour to bring it into orbit: I tried every type and quantity of engines and fuel tanks. It takes time, you just have to be patient and try many different ways.

Today i've tried my first randezvous and failed. Both orbits were perfect, my rocket's orbit was just a few km further but its speed was nearly the same as the other rocket's, so even though i time warped, both of them kept always the same distance. Could anyone give me an advice to make a randezvous much faster ?
