Please enlighten me as to how this defeats a giant railgun wielding mech.
Standing that close to a cannon going off would mean no ear drums left.

For long term bases I have remote controlled resupply rocket that drops off a load of resources with the old one being sent back to space and de-orbited to destroy it.

Here are a few of mine.
Delivering cargo to Munar orbit (had to be re-fueled in Kerbin orbit)
This is my smaller craft, she is an SSTO but with cargo (attached to the nose) she's normally launched vertically.

Is anyone else having an issue with tanks over a certain size disconnecting from parts attached to them the instant you launch your ship?
This obviously causes the ship to explode when physics loads. If i shorten the tank the problem is seems to be solved.
Is there some sort of mass limit or.....
I am using other mods with this.
Edit: I'm having the same issue as MilkDust on page 15, parts just slide off the top if the tanks are very long.

They used the skycrane to land the rover on Mars so the rocket exhaust would not dig massive holes in the ground that the rover could get stuck in.

Picture taken after the first successful delivery by my new shuttle. She still has a small issue with Mach tuck between Mach 1 and 2.5 but i'm sure it can be sorted.

For top heavy rockets like yours you'll need to turn later once the air has thinned right out. Also, add SAS wheels, they will help.

I would watch you G meter, as you get thinner atmosphere your craft can accelerate faster.

Just like Automcdonough said, MJ is a great tool for learning. In the early days I found docking impossible but after using MJ for a while I could see how it was doing things and now I can do them myself.
I mainly use MJ now for the info readouts and the mundane stuff that I can't be bothered with.

Would it be possible to have the option to change all three settings at once or even have it remember what the settings were on the last launch?
Loving the part, it's made my ships so much more controllable but it is annoying setting it up for each launch.

If you choose a probe for the first piece of the rocket any command pod you add after that will be empty.

I just found your video series and I have to say, I'm impressed with not just your design but also your monologue.
Working my way through series 2, lets hope the .20 issues get sorted before I make it near the end.

I too had the issue where ship parts were disappearing and the ship would not/could not move. The latest version (0.1.3) seems to have fixed the issue.
Something I found with the problem was any ship that had a fuel tank would be stuffed up, even it it sat on the launch pad.

I too have the same issue, I have a plane that is a dream to fly in the thick part of the atmosphere. As soon as the atmosphere thins the plane goes nose up and spins end over end till it crashes.
