What if Kerbals speak Navajo? ?That's right! In this code warfare, you must speak codes to prevent your data from being revealed and most greviously, having you losing! Each team will speak a specific code I give you. There are four teams in a warfare, and you must defeat your enemy! Teams: Team Alpha: ROFLCopter64bits (Team Leader) Team Beta: Holo (Team Leader) Team Penguinia (Formerly Gamma): MusicPenguin (Team Leader) Team Delta: Agent30632 (Team Leader) The first users to join will receive a PM that contains an address to a website that shows code or my custon made code for their team. You can asked for making the code by your team. Even though code can be made and broken, you are not ready yet. You need to know everywhere! Here is the map: Now that you know the map, you can go now. NOT! You need weapons and soldiers and whatnot. I added weather advantages to show you how weathers can make a difference. Let's say you have an army moving 300 kilometers from Fort A to Fort B. Originally every 100 kilometers you will have 50% the chance of losing 50% of your people. If you have a weather advantage of -5, the rate would rose to 50% of your chance of losing 75% of your people. If you have a weather advantage of 5, the rate would decline to 50% of your chance of losing 25% of your people. Note that the loss are dependent events, that means if you lose 50% of your troops at first, you will lose 50% of what you have after the loss, and so on. If you move 300 kilometers from Fort A to Fort B, you will lose in total 87.5% of your men. However, the weather advantage rating can go as low as or as high as -5 or 5. Lower or higher than that and the excess will not be count. So if you have the weather advantage of 12, you would still have to repeat the deeds of WA rating of 5 because the highest WA rating that can affect the chances is 5. Score will be updated weekly. You will start with $50000. and keep everything secret except invasion, alliance, and declaration of hostility. (In another words, stuff other than invasion, alliance, declaration of hostility, and declaration of peace must be PM to your teammates. If you have to talk it in this thread, post it in code.) In order to form an alliance, you must have the other team agree to join the alliance. In order to invade another base with fights, you must have the other team to accept the invasion. Unlike invasion and alliance declarations, however, declaration of hostility does not require you to have the other team to be hostile. If the other team does not respond to form an alliance in 24 hours, your attempt will fail. If the other team does not confirming any fights between bases in 24 hours, you can invade and capture the base without a fight. But once you've declared hostility to other team (declaration of hostility does not require other team to be hostile), you cannot declare peace between two teams until the 24-hour period have passed. There are 40 bases for you to capture, but you won't know where your base is until you joined a team. Once you joined, you can access the team's budget immediately. So that means... 36 unconquered bases, 4 team HQ, $50000 to start per team, code sending, code-breaking, and war will all be happening in this thread. Now ready... set... GO! And please read all the things before doing things. EDIT: NEW RULE: Team leaders have the option of making their own code, as long as they don't expose it to the public. If they do make their own code, they must send their code to my account so that other teams will have to figure out by themselves, and that I can recognize their team as using their own code. EDIT 2: More clarification: EDIT 3: To join an active team, you must be approved by the team leader of the team you want to join. And to take a base, pay the restart cost and send at least the number of workers required to operate the base. A soldier would be a worker. The map will tell you all the specific data. EDIT 4: Use this website to determine the march result. More information on post No.23. Progress Update: The war has just begun.

False. Nope, referencing to time zones (PDT times in comparison to other times) The next user is above me. (Post decides.)

Yes, and so do you. The next user is less than 2 days ahead of or behind me.

What movie? (Errr... false.) The next user below is not above me.

Gonna launch a rocket to deep space, but I'm waiting for BigBoy's save to come out. IF he didn't post it on Sunday, I'll do the mission using the existing save I have.

PREFACE: TROY Concept The Troy Concept is an idea of going to Mars (which I'm using it to use it on Duna), and perhaps enabling humanity of further space exploration. The first stage calls for departure of the 3 Percursor ships, carring base modules, and bound for Mars. Once arriving at Mars, the 3 base modules (Habitation Module, Recon Module, and Power Module) will undock from the Percursor ships, and land in groups of 3 in 3 different locations, ensuring that the covered area take up 90% of the Martian surface. Then. the Crew ship departs, carrying crew to Mars. There they dock with Percursor ships, and in the process transfering crew to the Martian lander, then having the lander to land near the base. Then after 14 months of studies, the lander departs from Mars and docks to Crew ship. After that the lander is discarded and the crew module departs for home. After somewhat 9 months of transfer, the 2 capsule docked to the crew ship undocks, discarding the crew ship, and, after an aerobraking, docks to SKYLON for further missions. Then again, several improvision is required for the proposal to work. Now, I'm using it to go to Duna (and if feasible, to Ike), but several issues are needed to consider. 1: Propulsion. Of all the stock engines, only the NERVA is feasible of high efficiency, but even so requires a ton of fuel, which does not help a lot. Besides, fuel can be easily depleted. The SM-Buzzard-Ramjet is capable of long space travel, and has resources that are renewable (renewing compressed hydrogen is completely impractical). The issue is the electricity, however, and that means a lot of power sources is needed. 2. Landers: While the stock NERVA is a good engine, its weight does reduce the amount Delta-V it can use. The Radial Nuclear Engines alleviate (definition: relieve) that problem. The smaller the size, the lighter it is, and thus the more efficient it is. However, because Duna's gravity is about 30% the gravity of Kerbin, smaller engines seemed underpowered. 3. Aerobraking vs. Lithobraking: Which way is more efficient? Lithobraking eliminates the chance of breakage, but it does use a lot of fuel and requires a lot of precision on time. The aerobreaking requires less fuel, but it does require a lot of entry precision, and breakages can happen if not used properly. However, results from previous tests with the last design showed no breakage between 2. A heatshield is required, however. 4. Modules: 2 modules will be connected using Clamp-o-Tron Sr, while the other 5 or 6 or so will be connected using the normal Clamp-o-Tron. This does not ensure 100% breakage-free, however. Also, there will not be multiples of engines, nor will there be overpowered engines. The SM-Buzzard-Ramjet will be the sole ship propulsion module. 5. Crew: You will meet them in PROLOGUE 1: The Meeting. So, several changes have been made. Not sure if this would work perfectly. NOT GUARANTEED TO FOLLOW THIS.

IE is good, but Safari is also good. Since this is no multiple choice question, I chose IE.

Preface 1 will be released and published this weekend.

Hello TMA. I found a name error. The-Kraken asked the first woman in space. I entered Valentina Tereskova, but then I found out that's the wrong name. Then the hint was also wrong, because the first of them is Vantina. Shouldn't it be Valentina Tereshkova? EDIt: By the way, how cann you be oped or voiced?
-
Can you update the persistent file? Other than that I have enough data to grant you extra points, as well as achievements.
-
Alrighty, I'll add your score to the OP, as well as the mission to the list. For now, your score is 7.1 points! (Due to the station effect that's in effect...) EDIT: Added it to the list. I'm gonna test whether the flights are still there. I used a backup save. EDIT 2: Yup, it worked. By the way, the look of Bill and Bob standing on the launch pad must bored them out. I'll be transferring the save to my main save. EDIT 3: Transferred. Continue mission. I'll be planning a launch toward Jool as soon as possible.

Any value in having SRBs after stage one?
Designer225 replied to The Ideal Gas Lawyer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yeah. Besides, you just can't cut off the motors once they're activated. I think in space we should use liquid engines in space, and use combined liquid engines and solid boosters for launch, to save money.
