  1. I can\'t make the kerbal change position if I try to! other than rotating around and pressing C for a random alignment that is. What are yall doing?
  2. I have to do this now.
  3. Place the first vectoring engine we get (forget the name) instead of the new big lander engine. It fits fine, weights less than half and puts out far more thrust. And vectors the same amount. And has the same efficiency. And lander legs still go farther so it doesn\'t conflict with landings. The new lander engine is just under-powered and too heavy. AND all that stuff about re-orienting eva\'s doesn\'t work.
  4. Okay I knew there were problems, but, seriously. I was having fun with launch clamps by trying to launch space planes from like, 100 meters in the air. One of them actually flew! Then all the wings on the right half of the plane came off. Total wings, 3 large wings on the left side. It still had one canard on the right side. Also a solid fuel rocket on the left side, not right side. I landed it successfully. Well, the crew is alive. If it hadn\'t tilted on the ground, it would have landed completely successfully. It was actually the most stable flying craft I have ever built/flown. When your most stable plane is one with wings on only one side, somethings up! Was EPIC fun btw.
  5. Cool I didn\'t know that! But when you move you go straight back to your original position so that doesn\'t really help. I have to admnit it\'s not all bad; it\'s super easy to maneuver around in space. It\'s just kinda limiting that you can\'t re-orient yourself.
  6. Not really, their specific impulse isn\'t that low is it? they seemed just as efficient as any other engine.
  7. Don\'t open unless you beat portal 2, spoilers ahead. Wheatly is still on the moon. Seriously, you all play ksp you know that was not anywhere close to escape velocity.
  8. No I mean like, not like that. Like make him upside down or sideways. But like yeah, radials should have some disadvantages efficiency or thrust wise, considering all their advantages placing wise.
  9. First of all, loving .16! Except! New engines. New lander engine first; It weighs almost twice as much as our old engines, and puts out less than 75% of the thrust. It\'s useless. The radial engines on the other hand are way overpowered. considering the nozzle is the same size as the small lander engine, and they put out 4* the thrust. 2 of them put out more thrust than the big lander engine, while weighing less and being easier to fit. Also the new engines have identical names/descriptions to some of the old engines. And I want to be able to rotate my Kerbals during EVA. Without having to press C and have him randomly re-orient. Don\'t get me wrong, loving it still!
  10. It took me a few tries to get it working. I still don\'t know shat about texturing tho. I got it all wrapped, etc etc, but I suck at actually drawing xD
  11. Just export as DAE or whatever. I do this all the time.
  12. I can attest that the wobble does indeed happen with the avionics thingy.
  13. To scale after adjusting for a kerbels smaller size? That would seem fair.
  14. WRONG. To recap, Delta V remains the same when you are on the moon, except you have less gravity to overcome. You cannot simulate this with lighter parts. To get close, you want the thrust to be slightly greater than before, compared to the mass. But this is imperfect. Very imperfect.
  15. ...So. What. Why are you defending this? Like seriously? RAAAAAAAAAGE
  16. OMG do they have this modded in? If not I now know what I\'m going to mod in. <<EDIT>> Urist McJeb will have an epic face. Bob will be throwing a tantrum!
  17. What the **** is this suppose to mean.
  18. It matters a lot more when your designing a rocket. Hey this fuel pipe fits into the engine right? Yeah maybe a little will leak out but it should be good.
  19. Increase the impact strength thing.
  20. Screw the imperial system, seriously. Its just a nightmare to work with. Even the modeling software is metric. I\'m sure as hell not going to model 6.56167 feet diameter rockets. (Aka, a 2 meter rocket.) And then to get the config files right? Yeah right!
  21. Should check the collider maybe. In my current attempts at making new parts, I make the collider .01 meters smaller than the mesh, on top and bottom. Also I don\'t plan on letting any engine have stack points on the bottom. The adapters and shrouds will do the connecting.
  22. Someone needs to link that show about the girl who was afraid of weight. She wouldn\'t put stuff in her fridge cuz she was afraid the floor would collapse, among other crazy stuff.
