    well done it took me ages to Figure out how to get an orbit going (back in 0.8.5) Best Tip i could give you is don\'t Rush anything. other wise your little green dudes may be stuck in space for a very long time other then that you seem to have the game all sorted. heading to the moon?   5. ok i have found a chain of mountains - at the edge of a crater -just south are larger mountains - you can recognise the crater by the swirls on the right of the bottom of the image i landed. a little to hard but my crew survived. at 638 There were much larger mountains around but obviously my rocket was in no condition to move on.
  6. TWR is Thrust to weight Ratio. every rocket needs a certain amount of thrust to lift its weight the mathematical equation is Thrust ---------- = Final Thrust Total Weight on earth the Final Thrust has to be over something like 9.8 for a rocket to be able to overcome gravity.

  8. 610 has just been confirmed as 'too low'. i just collided with a mountain peak my orbit was 615-595
  9. thats what i put around the Mun you silly goose. well seeing as there is a topographic map of kearth there is bound to be one of the moon? all we need to do is ask HarvesteR for the Texture UPDATE- so i was in orbit at 610m and i crashed into a peak - does that count as landing? the Mountain top was about 620m i will upload photos after work
  10. well im currently orbiting the moon at around 603-300 700-400 694-553 625-519(adjusting as we speak) and im finding heaps of peaks. i just want a way that i can quickly leave a mark on a map so i can visit it when i want. (and to share) yea thats where i have found the higher mountains aswell
  11. currently in an orbit highest point 708m and lowest is 613m - i dont dare get any more circular then that

  14. one? there are many peaks which reach above 540m\'s just avoid the craters because thats where they seem to appear most

  21. Great! hahah i didnt design it to leave the atmosphere tho :S Edit: i have edited the box car aswell - turns out there were two Fuel tanks that were not being used. also adding a parachute to the front as a drone chute
