  1. Are all of the little bugs (right click, decoupler, etc.) in the 64 bit version of KSP inherent to the game itself and can be patched by Squad, or is it a unity thing and we just have to wait till it gets fixed by their developers?
  2. Back in my day (.16), we didn't have no fancy "other' planets. Kerbin system or bust baby
  3. KSP kinda is inherently hard for "noobs" to pick up on at first, when you first play the game there IS quite alot of information thrown at your face . You have no real context with what to do with anything at the start, and usually the only way to build said context is with brutal and frustrating trial and error. I don't see how a Resource system would confuse noobs, it would only expand the game. This is something the community as a whole has wanted ever since you first hinted at it in .19, and really even before that with the benefits of mods like Kethane, so why would it seemingly die off for such a strange reason?
  4. I really want some new anomalies/easter eggs too, preferably giant ones like the Mun arches or the face on Duna. Its been a really long time since any new ones have been added, not since Some new planets would be nice too in the long run, we've always wanted a Saturn analogue But for .23, I'd be happy with a new christmas present planet like Eeloo was. Maybe a tiny asteroid to finally give Eeloo some company? Or a moon of a moon in Jool's system? So many ideas (But semi-seriously, Eeloo was slated to eventually become a moon of a second gas giant, which seemingly never materialized. We've seen pretty much no new planet development since Eeloo was put in the game, bar things like the mention of a planet called GP-1 from some distant stream I cant remember I really would like a new planetary system, and since all of the assets are there in KSP, it wouldn't be TOO difficult now would it? )
  5. Wow, he's younger than the game itself and within the first few minutes hes already got a rocket built and staging... adorable though
  6. Along the lines of how a planet in KSP actually rotates, are insane Coriolis forces possible if the planet's rotation is sped up? Like how you would be thrown off the fast rotating planet's surface due to the fact that you are already moving beyond orbital velocity, and would have to literally hang on to the planet to prevent from being pulled away, that kind of stuff I was thinking that KSP may be able to at least mimic these forces due to the boost you get from launching east into orbit, but then again the devs haven't made Rama(-aliens) yet, so...
  7. Have there been any schedule changes for The Space Race lately? I think you said something about 1 a week or 1 per 3 Grand Tour AARs, but that was awhile ago, so... any update on this? (On a completely and utterly unrelated note, how many people have mentioned that your avatar looks exactly like a Voltorb? )
  8. He wrote Jeb's Aurora 8 mission as the 4th and last Mercury mission, omitting 2 more flights that actually happened later in the RL program (Sigma 7 and Faith 7) Not only that, he replaced several Mercury astronauts with Bill, Bob, Jeb, and Buzz and Neil. Plus, no Mercury mission (or any manned mission ever for that matter, I'm not too sure on that) ever went into a polar orbit. So... I'm kinda confused too. I guess its about changing some things to fit with the whole KSP theme
  9. Mmmm, I'd like a Ice Giant in KSP. Preferably far out, away from Kerbol, Jool, and any new Gas Giants that (while not confirmed everone desperately wants ) may or may not have ringlike features and also be filled with exotic moons (like retrograde orbiting ones, ones with really thick atmospheres, crazy eccentric tilted orbits, etc, sorta like the real ice giants in our Solar System), truly teh ultamit chalang for the Kerbal's conquest of space
  10. Man, I just drool over the prospect of sending a mission to Jool... I'm so terrible
  11. How old was the stream? That moon still has the old light patchworkish texture that you can see covering it like the Mun did before it got a facelift with all those craters
  12. Nosecones in .22 are only supposed to increase stability during atmospheric ascent, they do nothing for decreasing drag.
