  1. The in game tutorial "To the Mun, Part 1" is quite good, if you follow the instructions it gives you. If by "tried all the tutorials" you mean looked on YouTube or the wiki that is, other wise ignore this haha
  2. That's a nice shot, liking the lights on the bottom
  3. "We have successfully landed 3 Kerbals on the Mun.... who said anything about getting them back?"
  4. Okay, I'm about to buck the trend here, I play with.....Mouse and Keyboard
  5. I usually deploy mine when I'm below 2000m/s in the atmosphere or around 10,000m. I try and avoid any breaking due to the sudden force of the parachutes by using struts quite a bit on bits that look like they may rip apart. I've used drogue chutes a couple times but only on Duna, but I guess they'd be useful on Kerbin, deploying them quite early in your decent.
  6. A must buy for sure! I remember downloading the demo, not even playing it, deleting it, and then buying the full game seconds later haha!
  7. I think for me, the new terrain on the Mun has given me the confidence to try and land something on a more mountainous area on Minmus, whereas before I just stuck to the flat ice lake type areas
  8. Yep, just seen announcement pop up on Facebook 18:00 CDT 23:00 GMT
  9. I think it has got easier but it's probably more down to skill of the player than to how updates have effected the difficulty, having said this I only began playing in .17, it took me a good few months to be able to do a 3 Kerbal Mission to the Mun, I could do a one manned mission easily, in fact i'd gotten to Duna before I could land 3 Kerbals on the Mun haha So i'd say down to skill of player and how ambitious the thing is you're trying to land.
  10. Resources are planned if that's what you mean A while a go they showed some early tests on map view resource locations on a live stream if my memory is correct.
  11. I also enjoyed this, I like your Pegasus design, reminds me of a boat I'm impressed you haven't given up yet with all your unplanned disassembling, keep going!
  12. I had to do 3 trips to LKO for my rocket to Duna as I wasn't sure how much fuel I would need, had just finished when I accidentally hit space bar and decoupled the capsule, I wasn't best pleased at the time haha
  13. Cheers Was a lot easier that way!
