Thats what iv been doing... Still not working

I downloaded all the packs, as they look amazing. However I havent been playing the KSP for a very long time at all. Pretty much a self appointed noob atm. I have no clue how to install the plugins so the parts will work ingame. All the parts show up in the game parts menu however all say "this part is not available in your version of KSP". What am i doing wrong ? and how do I properly Install the mods.

I have been trying to use the 'Eletrical Energy' 'Mechjeb' and 'Kethane' plugins for about three days now. All the parts related to each plugin appear in my parts menu in game but all say "This part is not available in your version of KPS." Any addons I have that just involve parts I have been able to install by just copy/pasting the parts files to my parts folder in the KSP folder. Doing the same with the Plugins to the Plugins folder in the KPS folder does not seem to be working. In the case of the 'Electrical Energy' plugin there are other folders such as 'Resourses' and 'Sources'. I was able to find a Resources folder in the 'KPS_Data' folder so I did that same there, still nothing worked. I was originally running 0.17 but went back to 0.16 on the chance that the mods were outdated. I havent been playing KPS for very long, just a couple of weeks. Clearly I am doing something wrong with where am copying the files after unzipping the downloaded plugins files. PLEASE PLEASE HELP !!!!! It has become a battle of wills now, and I really want to get these mods working. What do I need to do ??
