So why not just make the thread later? It's better to be a bit late and have a complete post than to rush to it and have an incomplete post...

The SCE to AUX one is awesome, and definitely needs to be in there.. Hmm... -Removing water from fuel -Debating with scientists -Pollinating Mun rocks -Building Mun sand castles -Turning up classical music -Placing monoliths -Describing physical laws -Removing reality And M5K is... -Going to bed Hahah, I like this thread though.

Really loving the new pack, B9. Everything is looking great, as normal. My favorite parts in the pack currently are: -The S2 Reusable Pod: It's gorgeous, complete with a proper IVA, and the RCS thrusters work. Also it's my favorite looking pod of the set. -The RCS ports that can fire in all reasonable directions. This eliminates one part per RCS port on spaceplanes. Normally, I have to place a normal RCS 4-direction port, and then a linear. This part covers all the bases and is how RCS ports should be. It's gorgeous in looks and in function. -The new Info Drive. This needs to be a stock function, it's like a README in-game. So incredibly useful. -Hybrid engines. While I haven't been able to play long enough to get a successful plane with these, they eliminate a lot of hassle and can streamline plane building. I wish the big pod and the supersonic pod had IVA views, but I'm sure that'll come in time. For the time being, everything is gorgeous. Keep up the good work! -M5K

A few things: 1: Those are some absolutely GORGEOUS rovers. My god, like seriously you have a talent. Love love love them. Favorite manned rovers I've seen so far. Ever. In all of KSP. 2: This was moved to Fan-Works by one of our moderators recently. NOT originally posted there, so that's why the reaction is also recent. 3: I've moved the thread back to General, as I agree, that's where it belongs. 4: Moraru, how did you get those emblems on those gorgeous rovers? -M5K

Radially Attaching Aircraft to Spacecraft
M5000 replied to GreeningGalaxy's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Yeah, the best way I'd suggest is to just use a docking port.. It will allow for re-use later, though, those planes don't look like they want to go to land and come back, but who knows? -
I've closed the thread because the OP did not obtain proper permissions to use MC content, then uploaded it and allowed others to access it. Please be advised that it is a direct violation of section 4.2 of the KSP Forum Rules to do this. Always remember to read, understand, and obey the rules! Thanks! -M5K

What fertilizer do they use in Kerbin to get their trees that big?
M5000 replied to Godot's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Rage097, please do not post only images on the forum. It is stated in section 2.3, subsection a of the rules that "Messages that lack any substantial content, for example messages that contain only reaction images" are frowned upon and are forbidden. You are allowed to post images, just make sure there is some actual content behind them. I have seen you doing similar things as this in other threads, and it would be in the best interest of yourself and the forum if you would please refrain from these types of postings. If you feel you are uninformed and need to read the rules, or simply can't find them, they're right here. Thanks! -M5K -
Testium? Really? Who names this stuff... Testosterone is clearly a better name. Hahaha

Congratulations, you've found one of the easter eggs. There may or may not be more things waiting for you out there. c;

Nova, I have a 640 gig drive. Fill it with stars!

I present all of you with the most gorgeous music of all time. Take a moment from your needlessly fast-paced children's songs and listen to real music ;D

No, you don't see it flexing even when a shuttle flies within two feet of it. That's because there's no air in space and distance is irrelevant in this situation. Now, you do see it flexing when something docks to it. Any large structure MUST be engineered to flex. The materials simply are not rigid enough. The ISS most certainly does flex a bit. But then again, you don't see them trying to turn the station around or fly with it... It's a station... It's stationary in its orbit...

You know what? I completely didn't even comprehend the [stock] tag. Like I read the title 5 times and my brain had entirely convinced me that it was not there. Apologies, I should edit it out.

NuclearWarfare's Sketches (Taking Requests!)
M5000 replied to NuclearWarfare's topic in KSP Fan Works
Hey, you said it was a sketch so I'm judging it based on that ahaha. No, but seriously good start. But make your hand hurt, we want space! -
If you look at one of the new remote control probe cores, the chips have clever names printed on them, with one of the more clever being the "FORGET-ME-NOT Memory Module"

Planet Ideas And Names For The Future Of Kerbal Space Program
M5000 replied to Dead Pixel's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I just want something with a really thick atmosphere that almost blots out the sun, but still is relatively easy to take off/land on.. Something that would make a beautiful base planet... -
Drag-to-mass ratios for Duna aerobraking
M5000 replied to Ninety-Three's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
This. This is the one thing you have to really think of when Duna-ing. -
If you feel like it shouldn't happen, and think it's a bug, go right ahead, especially if the developer is specifically checking/asking for bug reports. (Try to search for a MJ Bug report thread first, too.) Worst case scenario is the developer of the plugin doesn't fix the bug, so there's not too much harm in doing it, I don't think.

Drag-to-mass ratios for Duna aerobraking
M5000 replied to Ninety-Three's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I don't know of numbers, but this was a rover/skycrane/parachute system I had built for a Duna mission a while ago. It used two large chutes and two drogues. The skycrane ended up not even being needed and actually caused more of a problem than anything.. I did use the drogues before deploying the main ones, Duna's atmosphere is a weird thickness. It's thinner than Kerbin but it's certainly thicker than you think at first.. I've also moved the thread to Help/How To where it should be -
I've moved the thread to Help/How To, as the information and people here will probably be more likely to help.

The New Stock Repository Version 0.21
M5000 replied to Maxed-Rockets's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I'd like to submit my all-stock Soyuz replica. Name: Yoonyte-I (Soyuz TMA-M Lookalike/Workalike) (Pronounced Unite-I, since "Soyuz" is Russian for "Unity".) Craft file: HERE Features good or bad: -345 Parts -Looks close to a real-life Soyuz rocket and capsule -3 man descent module -3 man orbital module -Unmanned support module -Easily achieves a 100Km circular orbit with tons of fuel left in the orbital insertion stage (usually about 80-90% if done right), and the capsule itself with full tanks -Easy to fly (the entire main rocket is controlled by only four LV-T45 engine gimbals, so turning is slow and smooth) -Leaves 10 pieces of debris in orbit under normal operation Pictures: Imgur album here with more pictures. Forum thread here. Hope you all like it, enjoy! -

M5000 replied to M5000's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thank you much for the compliment, and the .craft file is live on spaceport, thanks to some jimmyjacking from our friend Ted. I've posted the link near the bottom of the OP. -

M5000 replied to M5000's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Sorry guys, yes I did intend to make my own thread, as everyone does for the craft they're proud of. Spaceport is being REALLY slow with getting the file up there... I want to release it so you guys can have fun with it too, and I'm quite proud of this one.
