  1. okay so you now you have A beam. now create a matrix of those beams at different angles from the source so to create a cone. now with that it should take care of itself. the higher the altitude the more beams strike the surface. lower the inclination same thing up to a point. write those values to a csv file and another plugin to read from those values to render the map. that way you can have multiple satellites writing to the same file. or make it to where it will still write to the file while simulating in the background.
  2. that's easy enough to do. just change the part.cfg on the jumpgate and make it hyperendpoint done.
  3. what ive been seeing is 1. planetary and satellite xfers are whacked. why is it doing all this extra stuff when launch to when it gets to zero and burn again prograde when it gets to zero using the protractor mod and use the adjust pe on soi switch does fine? 2. landing well lets just say you better have 4 or 5 orange tanks of fuel on your one man lander if you try to use the land at target. looks like the next problem is helping with this. it just chases its tail all the way into the ground. 3. its not going back to the smart a.s.s. setting when it finishes a node just sits there and spins. 4. overly complicated to use compared to 198. way. KISS will help with almost all of the above.

  5. yeah redspars does fly better but its also a dead end. so second best wins because of ongoing efforts to make it better.

  7. yeah pretty slick. coupla things I found. the description for the mk5 says its a mk3. also whenever I do the iva for the mk5 I get a blank wall. somebody was saying you cant radially attach the vtol engines you can if you change the attachRules in the part.cfg.
  8. theres always the phoenix and dove from journey to the far side of the sun. biodomes for silent running ships. some high ground clearance landing gear.
  9. the button for the panel is down on the bottom left of the screen its small so look close move stuff around and you should see the lil icon with a compass on it.
  10. you cant use the same boxes that mount on your ship. you have to change those to the enclosed AR202 case that's in the parts folder of the 207 zip file or change the part cfg of your old parts to use the new module.
  11. double check to make sure you have module=CommandPod? cuz I converted that old hal9000 mechjeb from way back to the new mechjeb no problem. using module = CommandPod and MODULE { name = MechJebCore }
  12. 250km 88 degree inclination is what ive been using and works pretty well for everything. dude make sure you have the antennae mounted and not the gps unit. the gps unit doesn't have the map creation buttons on the panel. elkar just hover over the spot and the numbers that are there are the coordinates put them into the landing autopilot after you choose the dec setting and then hit land at target. that should work at least that's how ive been doing it.
