A launch cinematic of the First Kerbal Weather Satellite (KWS-1) This is my first KSP cinematic video ever, I know of a few errors that I'm not going to point out, if you see them then congrats, one in particular you need to be paying attention to catch. XD I'll take good and bad feedback happily. I normally just do gamplay videos. (On that note, am I allowed to post Playthrough footage here? I used to when there was a video section but I haven't ever sense the forums imploded cause this section seems more artsy.) Anywho. Hi. I do game commentary stuff, and I play KSP fairly often however I always have a problem with the text being illegible in KSP recordings after I render. Other games look fine so I have never been sure what exactly is different for KSP. I use Fraps for recording. I record in 1080p at 30fps. I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 for editing and rendering. I have uses a lot of different settings trying to fix this. Oddly so far in testing the best improvement was when I doubled the FPS to 60, it looked great after rendering, of course once you upload to YouTube it puts it back at 30fps breaking the quality again. So in short, if anyone else makes videos and uses Premiere to render and gets legible text and good quality, can you let me know what settings you use? More info can be provided if needed. As a second option, does anyone just know a way to increase the fon size? I mean making the UI doesn't really do that to any of the text I would want bigger. That would help too but I havnt found any topics explaining a way to do this ether.

Hi, I haven't really posted around here sense the forum crash thing. I was looking to find a mod I think I saw a while back in the spaceport but can now no longer find. Or at least something that can do the same thing. It was a mod that could cause parts to fail, or rather blow up, on command. For the life of me I can't find the name of it. I was going to use it for some cinematic stuff. I have spent about an hour trying to find it, so I may just be crazy and think I saw this mod and am making it up... If that's the case, woops, sorry to waste time, but I do think it was there, haha. If anyone can help thanks, if not, well thanks for looking at my help request thread anyway =D

Hello, In one of my update videos on my youtube channel earlier in April I made a deal with my viewers that if we got my subscriber count up to 200 by May then I'd be holding my first contest and giving away a copy of don't starve. I figured I'd try and outsource here too. Currently were at about 170 subs so its not much further to go. My channel is all gaming and I try to play a lot of different stuff, a lot of it is about trying to show off games people may not know about of play otherwise, I also play KSP and sometimes more common games. Thanks for that link, I managed to miss that note. I had something like that happen to one of my sites a few years ago, not much you can do, but I'm glad they were able to restore what they could. I'm sure lessons were learned and the KSP team is a good group of people, I know they are working harder then most other sites would to restore as much as possible. The forums will bounce back fine tho. Thats said, I hope they don't forget to re-add the youtubes section *hint hint* haha

Also Im curious if it was ever said what actually happened, not that Im really mad or upset about it, I'm just curious. I own a site with forums so I like to try and learn about this sort of stuff, obviously something happened in the database, user error? server error? anyone?

Yup, my account was eaten as well, I wasnt to active but still. Will the YouTubes section be coming back? Thats where most of my activity had been.
