  1. SodiumEyes, have you considered fleshing this out some more? Or instance, putting some data out through a pseudo file with an API, possibly with a JSON object that could be interpreted for integration into a website (Or anything else that wanted it)?
  2. Here is the error I'm seeing that SodiumEyes may have some advice with: 'The exception unknown software exception (0x0434352) offurred in the application at location 0xf032811c.
  3. Looks like Windows Server 2012 had crashed. No biggie, except that I don't wake up until about 3:00PM, because I work until 1AM. Doing some maintenance and it'll be up soon.
  4. Once you download KLF, then you follow the instructions, then you're good to go. :\
  5. I had heard about that and I'm sorry I wasn't online at the time to see it. I may provide some secure contact information to a couple people, or put up a public email address for cases like those. Edit: You can now email oops[\at/]kerbalsp[\dot/]com if there's anymore issues with the server.
  6. I save them as well, but I haven't yet thought of an intelligent way to display 25,000 of them. :\ Also, I haven't started a thread for my server, but it's certainly something you could do if you wanted to bring some attention to it.
  7. Suggestions: Bind to IP address Full chat log, with connecting IP addresses.
  8. The image on the first page shows pretty much everything there is. Orbit map locations, chat and screenshot sharing.
  9. Looks like the server just crashed. I brought it back up for you now.
  10. If I wasn't lazy, I could write a script that could display them in a meaningful way on a website. I may do this when I get some time.
  11. Screenshots are a server side setting. My server, klf.kerbalsp.com, has seen 17,636 screenshots since April 22, so, right at one month. The largest one is 748KB, so when you start making them bigger, they start taking up more significant space on the server, and they become more difficult for people to receive when they are shared so frequently. I can make the height 1080, but the server would suck. (My particular server is at 480, but the default is 360, and that's appropriate). I've also not had any of the problems you are experiencing with sharing screenshots or with targeting planets.
  12. You can see the positions of his ships in the orbital map while he and you are both connected to a KLF server. You won't be able to see him ship physically in game. This is why there's no multiplayer built in. It's incredibly difficult.
  13. I see the KLF info page has been in and out the past few days, so if anyone is looking for a server, klf.kerbalsp.com on port 2075 is back up, on 0.6.3
  14. A lot of residential ISPs block port 80 anyway. Choose 8080 or something.
  15. I only chose C# because I have a friend who does .NET development for a living and said "Do C#". No clue, otherwise.
  16. I'm also working on something like this, but mine is more to teach me C#. As a procedural PHPer for the last 10 years... OOP can be dumb sometimes.
  17. It makes sense as long as you can switch between a global number and a per client number (Or a per client number, up to a cap). The machine the kerbalsp.com server is on is kinda way overkill with more than plenty resources to handle it and it would preventthe cap from being reached so quickly, without making it way too high with only a few players. Besides, I haven't seen a server with more than 20 players on it.
