  1. I think you might need to right-click them in-flight and click the test button.
  2. I guess Whackjob must've just had the common sense to not post their largest rocket, knowing that they'd just crash the forums.
  3. I mostly specialize in craft that fall apart on the launchpad due to terrible strutting.
  4. Really darn reliable. Like, they actually work a whopping 20% of the time. That's at least more reliable than when I started.
  5. Thanks for all the help, guys, but these aren't quite what I was looking for. Actually sounded quite like real music if I recall correctly. Some sort of synthy string sort of thing.
  6. Hello fellow space-chums. So earlier today I remembered that some aspect of a planet, (Radio emissions or something.) which, if I recall correctly, was Saturn, when moved into the range of human hearing, resembled either string-based or chorus-based music. But alas, my attempts to find anything on it were in vain. So if any of you brilliant people would happen to have a link, and would be kind enough to drop it here, I'd be greatly thankful.
  7. Well, if part failures are implemented for new tech, I'd like to see them as something that requires thinking. Not like "Every 3 minutes there's a 10% chance that your engine will derp." But "If you run this engine at higher throttles in thinner atmospheres/vacuum could damage it."
  8. Yeah, I'll have to agree with you on the music. If it all fits to the planet, then Duna's music would be awesome.
  9. Ooh, so THAT'S what happened to Ace of Spades. Thank you for clearing it up for me.
  10. Overkill? It has no atmosphere to protect it from every single object in space to enter its SOI.
  11. Oh my gosh, fenderzilla. You can't just ask why things are purple. Anyhoo, I'd say it's purple because it can be, and you shouldn't hold that against it.
  12. So far, I'm lovin' the new SAS and the micro-SAS. I'm also interested in the new command pod and structural parts.
  13. I believe that the mod "Hyperedit" Can do this for you. Edit: I appear to have been "Ninja'd" As you people call it.
  14. Hello, I've decided to make a thread asking people about their rocket/spaceplane/rover/crazysuicidemachine design processes. I for one do the follkowing: Watch Scott Manley and Danny2462 videos, get inspired to make an epic Mun craft, try to design it, hope it has enough delta-V, have the side-mounted engines and fuel tanks fly up and destroy the upper stages when I launch, spend half an hour trying to improve it, fail at that, and give up, but enjoy myself nonetheless. What do you do?
  15. 510: We should be able to catch baby space krakens and tame them and have them pull our ships into orbit for free.
  16. 244: wi ned a enjin wit lik 200000 isp so tht wi cn go to mon wit only 1 staj (Horrendous spelling intentional.)
  17. Hello everyone. I've recently been wondering about the specifics of creating a bearing for rotation in KSP, but I couldn't find any tutorials. I know that the designs use docking ports and/or landing gear, but I'm not sure on anything besides that, and I'd love if someone could help me. Thanks.
  18. Ah, now that I think about it it could well have been the base of a monument. Thank you! Thank you as well! You helpful people just made my day.
  19. Hello my fellow Engineerpilotpeople. I was trying to land a kethane mining rig on the Mun, and on my way saw a shack-like Mun-coloured object somewhat far away. Unfortunately I didn't have enough Delta-V to both investigate it and then head to the kethane pocket that I had failed to land at. Does anyone know what this object is? And for the Steam mods question: I have installed the Kethane mod and MechJeb, and wish to play vanilla KSP now, but reinstalling and verifying my game cache isn't removing the mods. Does anyone know how to remove them? Thanks. ~Akhar
