  1. I'm having a bear of a time getting the SurfMapper 2000 to work. What do I have to do in order to be able to map a planet? I've sent a manned mission up to Minmus with the intent of testing it out, but I can't get it to work. I'm in low orbit and have plenty of electricity and more than enough fuel to get back, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
  2. Apparently this hasn't been marked as answered, so I'll try and answer your question. Alchemist is almost certainly right, you need to press the green button when you run an experiment, not the blue or grey one. Also, if you want, you can take a Kerbal on EVA to go take the data from the module. This renders the module inoperable, but it still gives you the ability to recover the data, and you don't even have to keep the science part. I would suggest getting the Science Revisited mod, it makes more sense in terms of progression.
  3. I am willing to bet significant sums of money that you are not properly placing your RCS ports around your center of mass, not aligning your two crafts to North\South, or not right-clicking to target the port you intend to dock to. Also, stop being mad and go watch Manley's tutorial. [edit]: I should note that the importance of proper RCS placement is crucial to the ability to translate.
  4. Just a thought, but could you add a display line/column in both the build and flight engineers for maximum possible acceleration? The TWR ratio is handy for figuring some things out, but I would enjoy the option to see my maximum possible acceleration for optimum landing throttling. It would also be nice if you could put in current throttle acceleration in the flight engineer for the same reason.
  5. Two crops of a sketch I did a couple years ago.
