I've come to agree with those who say the new ASAS just isn't strong enough sometimes. Holding heading is a fundamental part of a stabilizer and the ASAS should be able to use the full strength of every control surface available to do so.

I've been adding more and more to my Kerbin space station in anticipation of .21. Now it has room for 50 Kerbals.

Make one to achieve orbit from Minmus.

In your KSP_osx folder, the default parts are in GameData/Squad/Parts.

That was hilarious. Yet he still made orbit.

I been waiting since 0.15 for someone from yogscast to play. Ridgedog actually first to play on his livestream (twitch.tv/ridgedog), yes he is part of yogscast.
Millons of new player to come! YOU BEEN WARMED
Actually, Sips first played it in .13 with a two part "Evening with Sips".

Turns out my Sr.s were on backwards. Whoops.

Seems better in some areas, worse in other. Looking toward the horizon in atmosphere or a bit above it still lags for me. It can be avoided by facing the camera straight up. Facing straight down helps too, though not as much, likely due to rendering the ground. None of the graphics options seem to have an affect on it either.

I can't seem to get my Sr.s to dock with each other. Nor can I control from one on my lander. Am I missing something?

Smarter gimbal control from the ASAS. Mainsail shouldn't overheat under normal usage (i.e. connected to an orange fuel tank).
Come back old ASAS - all is forgiven!

Toggling the ASAS does seem to make it more likely to hold a particular heading, but only as well as it was able to hold the initial heading. Your craft can certainly still veer from the heading.
