not much actually if you turned the sun into a black hole it would still have the same mass and therefore gravitational field strength so it would not do that much to the planets apart from stopping remitting light

ha 3 times as powerful as anti matter? mine IS ultra dense antimatter also that is a combi-melta it would not do much damage from space it would probably just melt a small amount of the upper few meaters of crust, mine would annialte half the planet going deep into the mantle coving the rest of the planet into a firestorm and ripping it apart with earth quakes. meltas are nothing compared to the SHEER POWER of a UDAMEC, i also dont see how a fusion chain reaction would continue permanently it would disperse too easily and stop quite quickly (not saying it wouldn't wipe out half the planet first))

acctualy i think it would be ratther impractical to turn a planet into a shell of asteroids due to tthe fact that you would need remarkable amounts of energy to force ALL of the plane into asteroids and force a suffience outwards force that the asteroids dont fall back into the core. it would be much more practical to destroy a small moon but even that would be pointless when you can just mine already existing asteroids, but if you realllly want to get to the inner core for some reason then you could blow a hole in the side of the planet and let the magma desperse into space allowing for mining of the core and crust withh much less energy
