  1. Hi,

I've been having an issue with my install. I'm still cooking on 1.9 so I can could hopefully get the mod to work.

I reported the issue on GITHUB but had no reply. Link to GITHUB thread is here - https://github.com/KSP-RO/TacLifeSupport/issues/134

Essentially it boils down to all of my vessels having 'time left on current consumption' being some huge negative number. Not only that, none of my kerbals are actually producing or consuming any resources.

  2. Hi All,

I put something on reddit a while back about wanting a mod that improves the new stock one, to which I got one unhelpful reply. I have found many discrepencies within the stock tech tree, that, for the moment, have made the game almost unplayable for me.

For example, ladders are too deep and so are 2.5m docking nodes which I find are essential for interplanetary missions.

    Can anyone help?

    cheers,

    Toby

  3. My rules:

    1.

Bill, Bob and Jeb never leave the Kerbin SOI and don't complete any 'firsts'.

    2.

    Vaguely realistic rockets.

    3.

Realistic construction of big ships for interstellar missions.

    4.

    MOAR mods!

    5.

Mechjeb only used for tedious stuff like launches.*

*I do use MJ for executing maneuver nodes simply for precision that a human could never get.

  4. Firstly, do your homework.

Learn what makes a good processor, graphics card etc. Working out what you need to buy is the hard part, as for building it there are plenty of tutorials on youtube.

Regarding storage, i would go for a hybrid drive rather than an ssd hdd combo. that way you have some insurance, should the drive fail, so that you an recover the data. If an ssd dies, game over. You lose everything.

Regarding my build, which i built back in february, i definately regret going for the gpu i went for a geforce gtx 660, i could have got much better for the same money, that's first on my upgrade list but that won't happen for a few years.

be wary of a non-stock cpu cooler also, if it is less powerful than the stock, it voids the cpu's warranty.

just a little advice, first and formost, do your homework.
