Out of all the KSP Space Oddity videos I've seen, this is by far the best. In fact, it makes me want to make a video to the same music myself.

I'm going to say Laythe because I don't feel guilty about stranding my kerbals there. It has everything they need to survive. It also looks awesome.

0 mass and 0 drag, so symmetry is not needed except for aesthetic purposes. That said, it also means there should be no penalty for having as many as you like.

My first Mun landing was similar.

I don't have the maths right to hand, but burning to a jool orbit with low periapse is indeed the most efficient way because you get a much biger boost from the much vaunted oberth thingy-ma-bob. But in practice, unless you've shaved your fuel allowance very finely indeed, it's often easier to just burn away from Laythe directly, because you don't have to wait until Laythe is in the correct position in its orbit around Jool.

One of my recent mun landings, I didn't have to land on the engine, I just did it anyway because I had more fuel than expected in my transfer stage.

Basic multiplication, it would seem. 5.7 times 9.8 is 55.86, which rounds to 55.9. You should have a calculator on your computer.

Yep, my account got deleted. An embuggerance, but not the end of the world. Hopefully I won't have to go through that "5 posts moderation" thing all over again.
