Damn.... if that's the case I better check the code I'm using for my KGC program. I was using the 1.9.8 MechJeb code and the crxTelemetry codes as a start for my system... I know the MechJeb team know I am doing it but not the crxTelemetry guy.

I warn you, if you watch his Bus Simulator vids be prepared to call the ambulance as you laugh so hard you bust a rib. Oh and his Far Cry 3 ones are realllllllllllllly funny too. I've been waiting for him to do more KSP though. The previous one was a really old version. Still, as soon as I saw it I stopped his vid and had bought KSP in less than 5 minutes lol - It just was one of those games that attracted me where Minecraft did not. One thing confused me about the the above vid though... HOW DID THAT KERBAL SURVIVE (the one who fell off the rocket and BOUNCED).
-
I mean... "OPEN THE PARACHUTE ON THE MUN" and I was like "HUH?" ROFL I swear he is bad for my health... I always have aching ribs after watching his vids.
-
Nerd3.... omg does he make me laugh....

I'm another one who will say "GET HAYSTACK". It helps selecting craft when there is more than one in the same orbit, let alone let you select the right TYPE of craft. Haystack is one of the MUST HAVE mods out there.

Making it to the Mun...and Back?
NeoMorph replied to Diggydug's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Learning to refuel in space is a good learning experience and something that will let you do a lot more than going to the Mun and Minmus. Granted, landing on both these moons are a learning experience in themselves but if there is one thing you will do as a new Kerbonaut is USE LOADS OF FUEL. So my advice is to get a rocket with a decent amount of fuel into orbit. Make sure it has a docking collar attached to it (normal or JR size - just take note because your Mun ship will need the same size docking collar... oh and the shielded docking collar is compatible with the normal collar but not the JR one) and then send up your Mun ship up to dock with it to top off the tanks. So many of us (yeah, me included) end up landing on the moon (or crashing lol) and find we don't have enough fuel to get back to orbit. And yes, docking is hard to begin with, but if you have problems just watch some videos (ie of Scott Manley's pedigree) and read up and finally if you are still having problems JUST ASK. The reason so many people help with this game is because it isn't easy right off the bat... but it is easy once you get the first few docking under your collar. If you are not a purist and will use mods, get the Romfarer Docking Camera mod. It helps with docking a LOT. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/lazor-docking-cam/ -
Trouble getting a station up in one piece.
NeoMorph replied to Edberg's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I can't get how so many people are still having problems even with so many tutorials out there. Once you master docking it's easy to put together a space station in parts. It's just learning a few basic rules is all. Once learned, it opens up a lot of "OHHHHHH, so THAT'S how you do it!" cases. -
Come on... have you SEEN how much delta V you need just to get your rocket to de-orbit. Now try it with something the size of the ISS... stick a rocket on it and a whole bunch of fuel and then burn baby burn.... and yawn... and wait.... and cry "DAMN YOU HOLLYWOOD... YOU LIED!".

Lol... I thought this was a link to Metro Last Light (Came out today and the hero is Artyom again).

When You KNOW Your Pilots Are Enjoying Themselves
NeoMorph replied to NeoMorph's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I just have this image of the guy bouncing up and down in his seat screaming "FASTER, FASTER!" Oh and Scotius, go ahead but when I tried it looked crap as a 64x64. Although cropped it doesn't look too bad.... -
It really is a shame you aren't using any mods. If you had just one it would make it a lot easier... ie the Kethane mod. You still have to scan for the resources, drill for them and then convert them into usable fuel. Would make it a lot easier than having to ferry fuel from Kerbin.

God.. the phantom forces... If the phantom force was in the prograde direction I could see it doing that...

Even one is enough to save a lonely probe. It just needs a trickle of juice to open the other panels. Once they start opening you are safe (even though you probably only should be able to part open them before running out again). I make sure EVERY ship and probe has a single static solar panel because in the early days I lost probes all over the place.

Imagine the speed of an old Russian satellite that is in polar orbit. Now you have the ISS in equatorial orbit. Paths cross and KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. I know this story.... Sandra has to get not let herself get below 50m/s or her suit will explode...

Get EdTools http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26233-Editor-Tools?highlight=edtools - You can hit the tab button and it switches to mirror mode like in the SPH. then hit X to align your symmetrical rover wheels.
-
Yes, PLEASE post the fix... As he included the source code it's definitely open source time so you should be able to distribute it as long as you supply the sourcecode and maybe label the bits you changed.
-
Yeah... same thing happened to me earlier...
-
A picture tells a thousand words... and every word is AWESOMMMMMME!
-
You are in outer space, usually in death pressure and you do NOT want a spill in those conditions... A tiny pinprick in your suit can lead to death. Crashing your rover at F1 speeds is going to end in death for sure. So nope... Not dissatisfied at all. Would be nice to have some mesh wheels like the Lunar Rover though. Don't like the brown ones. Should be like this... Oh yeah, and is it me or is that rover giving us the finger?
-
I try to quicksave after I have completed something that was hardish and likely to crash the program (not the game). Oh and I ALWAYS without fail quicksave before docking because even though I dock perfectly I occasionally get that bug where the whole thing just impodes right after the moment of docking, even with SAS off and a really low speed contact.
-
That moment when you have finally got you big ship stages set all right (you know what I mean... getting the separations and sepatrons etc in the right slots) and are just about to save and... ... and yes THAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME!
-
I got a bug like this in where I docked and the spacecraft blew up. Game crashes. Reloaded and tried again. Same result. Well it IS and alpha version after all. Annoying though. In the end I did this to the offending craft.
-
What's up... got a Kerbal (should be frog but hey, Kerbals are green) in your throat? Hey... I just thought something... KERMIT WAS A KERBAL IN DISGUISE!
-
This problem happens with rockets too. I usually go back to space center and then select the VAB and check the vehicle out again. I guess you could do the same with the SPH.
-
Clicking on the target vehicles docking port and then it selecting it sets the alignment up correctly on the navball. A lot of people don't know this and it makes docking harder.
