to SirCmpwn, I owe you an apology, I never complained when the site was down or was running slow. I knew it was fan based and you paid for it out of your pocket. but I never said thank you for what you did for us. for that you have my most humble apology and belated too late THANK YOU.. To Squad, I do not blame you for Kerbal Stuff shutting down. It was a fan site not officially sanctioned by squad. Its closing was totally the fault of fans like myself who took Kerbal Stuff for granted. I do blame Squad for associating themselves with a disreputable site like Curseforge, making a site like Kerbal Stuff not only work but succeed like Curseforge never will. I never did approve of Curseforge's business model. Either be a premium pay site or a free site. Don't make your so called free service slow /watch advertisements etc. to extort people to buy a upgraded membership. I know that Curseforge is by far not the only website to do this. But not being the only scumbag on the internet does not change the fact they are scumbags. I do not have any premium membership at any site that use that business model. I hope that Kerbal Stuff is revived by the community. Because if Curse is all we are left with I will not be able to continue to play Kerbal or suggest the game to my friends.

hurgar replied to Nereid's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Neil Armstrong was a US naval aviator with over 20 combat missions in Korea. He was in the US navy and naval reserves from 1949 to 1960 when he resigned his commission. He was a civilian when he was accepted for NASA but it was his back ground as a military test pilot that got him the job. -

No 64 bit. Just knocked a mod off my must have list. too bad. I enjoyed this one. I wish somebody else would do a orbital construction mod. I don't know any programing.

I have problems moving stuff around in the VAB and it gets stuck in the corner. I have to spend a lot time playing with camera angles to center my craft in the VAB again. I would like a button that just moves the craft back to the center.

What to do while waiting for launch windows?
hurgar replied to Dave Kerbin's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thank god for the Alarm clock mod. I have a full space program running. As I am waiting for the launch windows for my kethane/mapsat probes to launch, I am exploring Kerbin, Mun and Minmus. -
I am a big Anime fan. Several years a go I brought one called Planetes. It is in a near future setting. The moon is colonized there are several space stations and most international flights are sub orbital. The main story is about Debris Section. They were formed after a suborbital flight was damaged and had casualties caused by debris. The story is decent for a anime but they use real physics for moving around in space. In the extra section there is several interviews with the people from NASA in charge of tracking space debris. It has 26 TV episodes. Unfortunately it is out of print. It came out in 2005/2006 in the USA. If you can find a copy it would be an interesting watch. The plot summary from ANN. In the year 2075, mankind has reached a point where journeying between the earth, the moon and the space stations is part of daily life. However , the progression of technology in space has also resulted in the problem of space debris, which can cause excessive and even catastrophic damage to spacecraft and equipment. This is the story of Tchnora's Debris Section, its Eva worker, Hachirota Hoshino, and newcomer Ai Tanabe.
