Since there is only a few days left now so i decided to change the 1 point for every correct answer given to: 5 Points for every correct answer good luck rushing for those high ranks. ill re-post the leader board a day before I close this down.

Hi folks Just a little update.. Im thinking this idea isnt working out as well as I had initially expected. Unfortunately at this stage with the couple of people that have been playing keeping it open and hosting the website dosent bare much merit. Im also aware the very few people that do play will soon get bored themselves due to lack of other players to play against. I therefore and after thinking about this hard for a good few days now have decided to discontinue the service by next weekend. It was an interesting experiment, and I enjoyed setting it up, and thank also to the people who had initial interest in this idea, provided me with encouragement or were just helpful in some way or another. If anyone else wants to continue with this ide I suppose i could give you all the things needed to run, like the room ownership, the bot, trivia game/questions, website files/project.. I can not however host the website, or offer any sort of help with the chan, modifying/configuring things with the bot, chan or whatever... I guess it might be ideal in the hands of someone who knows how to use an mirc bot, and can edit/update the websites project files. anyway.. all said.. its been fun.. so just remember its next weekend (not this weekend).... feel free to hammer the game till then.. I shall update the leader board on the 2nd last day, so its displayed for a day both on the web site and forum.. after that ill request to have the post taken down too... unless anyone else wants to take over the idea. anyway.. a big thanks to everyone.. and very big WELL DONE to all that played and got good scores.. i only wish i was smart as you lot so i could keep up with you on a competitive level best regards pan

Hi folks... glad to see some folks are getting some fun out of this. The Destroyer Yes it seems the game has an issue with some non letter characters. I shall amend any of these + question with & If you spot any other non-responsive correct answers due to a certain character please bring it to my attention, or report it yourself using the room reporting feature (see website) Hi Designer225 Well its possible there will be the odd answer that is questionable or debatable... but again if you find any ones that you are not happy with you can report it as explained above, or use this forum thread. I will of course amend any answers that are just completely wrong provided people are 100% sure its wrong and perhaps provide a link to somewhere that can authenticate that answer. Anyone who is "known" ... ie has played the game at least once and proved they are not a troll or some idiot out to be disruptive should ideally be voiced "+" ... Having a voice means you can use features of the room that non-voiced people can not, for example with a + you can report/add trivia questions and use other tools. There are three ways to set someone up with + I can set the Kracken to automatically + that person whenever they join automatically based on nick and host (ip) Or the person can register their name with EsperNet so be able to access "chanserv" commands.. this means yo can voice yourself whenever you want. I can also set Chanserv to auto voice registered people. If you cant or dont want to register for whatever reasons, or have a dynamic ip (changing ip address) then another op can voice you whenever you are around. Regarding Ops "@" .. ops are only really for people who have either helped out with the founding of the room or other help... or will have ops because they are helping to run the room. An op is much like a forum moderator.. there is no need for everyone to have ops.. voice is more then enough to access the rooms various feature. People who have been coming to the room for any significant time, and have been polite, or helpful will most likely be offered ops if they so want it. But in general there is no reason to have ops, other then to kick or ban people, which for the most part is already taken care of by the ops that are already there and to be honest mostly likely will never be needed. (touch wood) i may change how things work, but for now i think this system is good. msg me next time your in the room, ill see about setting you up with to be auto voiced if you miss me.. please its important to note.. i am a human being.. i eat , sleep and go out.. just because my nick (name) is in the room it dosent mean im at my pc. Hello there Designer225 .. you dont need to log in with anything.. just choose a nick name (preferably your forum name.. but it dosesnt have to be).. and press the connect button (of course after you type the captcha) .. anyway you should automatically join the chat room then you can start to play the game or chat to others or whatever. To all that joined the room this evening, im sorry i missed you.. i was not by my keyboard at the time, and i should have been there to at least welcome you. but even if there is nobody talking in there or indeed nobody playing the game.. dont be shy.. start up a game yourself regards pan

Kerbal Space Program Official Chat Room Statistics. This site is not affiliated with Squad in any way. www.fractalscapes.net/ksp/stats/stats_main.html These statistics reflect from about October of last year to early April of this year. Statistics where collected based on one channel log file from one user, so they may not reflect an entirely accurate picture of channel activities and times. The log file that was used is just about enough to get the ball rolling on the long term statistics for the channel. I shall update these stats fairly regularly with more complete logs for short term stats and find someone with a complete log file going back as far as the channel was created for long term stats. So the stats you see now will eventually start to reflect a more accurate picture of channel activities. The statistics features a few pages which you can navigate using the menus just under the logo at the top of the page, or the same links at the very bottom of each page. The Main Page features general user counts, time of day tables, and various graphs. The Second Page is a more detailed general statistics page. The other pages “Word Watch†feature specific chat trends such as what popular mods and links have been talked about and by whom ..etc These “Word Watch†pages may in the future change depending on what the general trends are in the chat room. SOME NOTES Not all peoples avatars are currently displayed, this is simply due to me being unable to find avatars for many of the people from the KSP forum. I realize also many people lost their accounts recently, including myself.. so if anyone at all wants their avatar featured on the stats for future updates please don’t hesitate to ask me either here or in the chat room “TMAâ€Â. Avatars don’t necessarily have to be the same as the forum but would be preferable, however if you want to use some other one that’s fine. The page stats will feature 150x150 big + 15x15 small avatars.. there is no limit on file size since I will be putting any submitted images into its own “rounded edge†frame avatars. People will also have the option to have other information along with their nick on the “Personal Stats†table (top of page 2), assuming that person features in the top10 list. I may at some point make this “Personal Stats†table, 20 or even 30 nicks long. If you also want other information along with your nick on that section the options are: Website Address, Location, Date of Birth, Gender & Team/Group. I may also give people the option to put their own banners if they are featured on the “Personal Stats†table. This will also help to create a more interesting statistics for the channel, so the more people that fill in some of these details the better. I am also considering giving people the option to suggest custom “Word Watch†pages for future updates so if any of you at any time think of interesting, useful or even amusing word watches tables or pages don’t hesitate to reply on this thread, private me on the forum or catch me in the chatroom. As mentioned in my opening, eventually I will have another page that will be short term statistics, this will feature channel activities over a week or two, the long terms stats might be updated every month or two. A FINAL NOTE ON THE STATS AS THEY ARE NOW (20th April 2013) Its important to stress the stats as they are now are from one person’s log file. There will be many of you that have been quite active in the channel that will have not been featured much on the stats pages. This is due to the fact that the person that was logging the room was not necessarily online all the time, so missed quite a lot of chat, and also at generally specific times of the day. So there will be many people and chat activity that ought to be reflected that are not. However I myself have started logging the channel so for the next updates (at least short term stats – building up to long-term) the stats will be more accurate. I would like to take this opportunity to ask anyone at all that has been in the chat room for a significant amount of time to give me logs from that period. It doesn’t matter if you where not online for all of it, but in a nut shell an ideal log(s) would be from a user that is there all the time, and idles when not chatting. If anyone could help me out with that it would be fantastic.
