  1. Simple but useful or more ascetically pleasing. I like it. for the radial Sr. clamp, could you scale up the stock radial adapter and remove the 1.25m -> 2.5m adapter in the center?

  3. Actually, orbiting Kerbol that low is not hard or fast, it is actually VERY slow. Its the ÃŽâ€V that is unusually high. a Solar Corona is the actual term, but Coronasphere can describe it perfectly. In all reality mining from Kerbol would only have the stupid instant vaporization issue to deal with, meaning you would probably need to adjust the orbit or KAS cable until it works.
  4. Who said anything about landing? I meant mining with a KAS connecter attached to a drill hovering a few inches above the surface(so the collider does not hit it)
  5. I don't get the reference, I never watched SG:U, I was more into the actual action of SG:A and SG:SG1. But really, does anyone know, or is the surface so intensely dense that it vaporises anything on touch?

  7. Alright, went without a hitch! Thank you for the help Maj. Also, how possible would it be to mine the sun for plasma (not physics wise, I mean kerbal wise, is it even possible to get clos enough to the "Ground" to even mine it?)

The rockets, where else did they get that SAS module? anyway, some silos sound good but I think troughs of ore/metal would work better, silos work for light objects that can be pumped upwards easily and down through the top, where as metals simply follow the will of gravity and fall down chutes to bins or "troughs" It would be even better if you could get an animation in for the amount of ore/metal/parts inside. If you do go the route of troughs: just an idea (minus the train parts of course.)
  9. It most likely is, but even testing it on bare minimum settings on a 1.6Ghz Processor, with 1Gb of RAM being ate by KSP, it is still manageable (and admitably faster than I'd have thought.) I will be testing your suggestion soon Majiir, thank you for clearing that up.

EDIT: Forgot the resource definition for Fusion Plasma when I made that.
  11. If you intend to game from the web that should be fine, but you should replace that with at least a 100Gb one soon if you want to actually intall and play games.

  13. I hate movies that don't explain how they got into orbit around a solar body, or throw some stupid explanation like "Warp" or "Teleportation". I always feel that when they do orbital capture/escape burns they do them wrong. YOU DO NOT THRUST TOWARDS AN OBJECT TO GET TO IT!!!!!!11111One!!!!1Eleven.
  14. Well, the resource cfg file is all there and ready, I think you are using "plugin" wrong.
  15. 1. No plugin 2. Figured it out by studying the Extraplanetary Launchpads mod. all I had to do was add RESOURCE { name = Stragnelium } to a custom scanner.
  16. Alright, why is it my minerals are no appearing when I'm scanning? I've tried hitting the arrow buttons, but they just refuse to show up. I know it is possible because the EPLP Mod did it....
