  1. Just imagine what would happen if you tried that in real life. Actually, did occurred in real life. Except not really, because it didn't involve malfunctioning dockingports. But it do shows what happens if you hit a space station with another spacecraft. http://youtu.be/tM7fTLLmgbk
  2. I must say that's a very sleek and practical design. Can come in handy for my next space station, but I wouldn't go with modules that are connected to each other with 2 or more docking ports at once.
  3. A picture taken after the failed launch of a space station core. The remains look very aesthetically pleasing somehow.
  4. I imagine it was a real struggle to dock all those modules in such a way they all dock.
  5. OSSaIPS Orbital Space Stationd and InterPlanetair Ship At first it was intended as an interplanetair ship, but that didn't work out because of some flaws in the design. The tanks on the side start wobbling to much and the whole thing is way to big and heavy. But I still use it as a refuelling station for other ships, so it wasn't entirely pointless.
  6. I will be looking into this sometime this week. I'm really buzzy with college at the moment.
  7. Here you go sir! Question: I assume this is some kind of reference to an animated series? I don't recognize it.
  8. Adium is a client for Macs that does pretty much the same, only better because of the endless selection of extra's/plug-ins. http://adium.im/
  9. I would love to use services like ICQ and IRC as my main way to do instant-messaging, but as long nobody in my surroundings uses those services, I'm forced to use impractical services as Facebook-chat and Skype. Otherwise I will lock myself out.
  10. Em... I can see you put a lot of effort into it, but I don't think it looks very realistic or at least believable. Some kind of gas-giant would have been more appropriate to put in the background.
  11. I heard that ICQ is still quite popular in Scandinavia and Eastern-Europe, no idea why. But then again, everyone in south-east Asia seems to use Yahoo Messenger. It's almost a cultural thing. I remember that MSN was totally da bomb in western europe for years (I used it a lot too) and AOL was very popular in the USA.
  12. How do you get that rover on the surface with its wheels touching the ground?
  13. Amazing concept! Never thought about such thing before.
  14. "Any unauthorised personal will be shot on sight!"
  15. You're also the essence of my own space program!
  16. And done! Hope you like it!
  17. 1. Great idea. 2. Not that relevant in the current version of the game. It's more about IF you got somewhere, not how parts broke on the journey to get there.
  18. I designed this flag for sir Scott Manley himself a few weeks ago. He was willing to use it until his little daughter made one for him instead. So I figured I shall use it myself then, as a huge fan of his videos.
  19. That is one weird looking spaceship.
  20. So is that a good or bad thing? Do you like the challenge of flying from inside the cockpit or would you rather do it the normal way?
  21. Without, since the game does already apply some texturing for you. And it makes the design unnessesairly messy.
  22. To counteract all the Union Jacks is this topic I wanted to show of something a friend of mine has achieved. He planted both our national and royal flag on the surface of the Mün! The Netherlands FTW! (Yes, I'm actually from Kingdom of The Netherlands, not the Republic of Kazakhstan)
  23. How do you launch such an gigantic thing? Do you have any images of that?
