  1. I had this problem earlier. Go to the R&D page and click on the icon that contains the pod (the first one in the tree), on the right the parts will be listed in a window. Click them to 'buy' them. There's a price, but I dont think a currency is implemented yet. I'm not sure why this happens, but it only did it for the first two stages of research and then it would automatically 'buy' all the parts when I would upgrade.
  2. I would play again if I could get involved with a group/corporation. It seems every time I finally found my way into a humble little corporation, everyone in it disappeared within a few weeks and I became discouraged. I think I have like 13/14mil SP? It's been about a year now.

    Stressed

... Is just "desserts" spelled backwards. Literally just blew my mind. I had to post it.
  4. The Hyper 212 should be okay. I used it on an i7 3930k @ 4.2Ghz and I never have heat issues, even on an extremely hot day. Keeping a CPU at 40c under load is awesome, but may be overkill for being on budget. I think most of them can operate without damage at anything under 65c-75c.
  5. Looks good. Unfortunately, KSP won't utilize all the cores (atleast not yet), so you may be able to go cheaper in that respect. Then again, quad cores are pretty cheap these days. The 760 isn't a bad price. I'm kind of weirded out that it's cheaper than my GTX670 though. Do you plan on putting in any extra fans into the case? That's always a good idea. It probably fits 120mm or 140mm ones. Im not sure how many that ships with, but I've always had to buy extras to install on the top/bottom/side. Also if you're on carpet buy/make something to elevate it off the ground. This way you can be a little more at ease if you decide to overclock for the added performance.
  6. Well it is Kerbal Space Program. It's not all about the flying technically. Some times just establishing a base of operations on another planet is highly entertaining, whether I flew it there myself or not.
  7. I'm glad they used giant mothership/UFO clouds. Kerbal. edit: Oh god, I just used "Kerbal" as slang for cool or something.
  8. Here's a quick and dirty edit: You can sort of see the art style of KSP with the silhouette brightened up.
  9. Uhhh ... Well before you guys argue about whether it's the real VAB in Florida or not, isn't it entirely possible it was used as a reference? Obviously, the photo was edited to add in the pretty clouds as stated above.
  10. If you aren't one of those people who are anti-mechjeb, you can use the maneuver planner and see how it sets up the maneuver nodes for you without having to actually engage the autopilot.
  11. I don't know what it is, but your pictures look beautiful. Are you forcing Ambient Occlusion or something? edit: Im guessing SSAO isn't a possibiltiy in this game yet, though.
  12. Maybe this is silly, but maybe he confused Hyper Threading with High Precision Event Timer? They're obviously two different things, but I remember disabling HPET and getting less stuttering in a select amount of games (running on an i7 3930k @ 4.2Ghz). Well, either way I'm curious to see if that has any real results. I would do it myself, but something happened in the last few weeks that made my monitor not turn on until the Windows loading screen came up, so my BIOS is invisible.
  13. Dumb question, but: Are you using KSP 20.2? I read somewhere that even using 20.1 is incompatible with the B9 pack.
  14. Good work on the new update. Was having fun with the new little engines. Decided to make a Kerbalish Drag Racer. It almost looks taped together! 6 engines sitting on the inside. I noticed I needed to run a fuel line from one of the fuel tanks to one of the engines. Do I have to do that for each engine? I couldn't tell if they were all adding to the "horsepower" or not. Either way, it was going about 70m/s and fully under control!
  15. Why does the Vonnegut from the B9 pack become so uncontrollable for me? Atleast pitch wise. No matter what, it's extremely sensitive to pitch controls. Its like a see-saw flying through the air until I cant keep up with pressing W & S back and forth, then it begins spinning out of control. I don't even have any cargo in it, either.
  16. What if you remove the offending piece and attach a new one after placing it upside down? You probably already tried that though.
  17. Listen ... You don't know how much this means to me. I have been playing KSP for a little while now and have never been able to get working and stable plane designs down consistently. It was like a miracle whenever it would happen. I looked at so many different tutorials as well. Whatever you said and however you worded it finally made the light in my head go off. Now I'm happily flying my own designs. Now I can have fun with all those B9 toys.
  18. Yes. That's what I meant. I didn't mean to offend your design choice or anything!
  19. Hmmm. How come the Sabre S works just fine? Don't they essentially work the same way and the Sabre M is just bigger?
  20. I had the same problem, then I uninstalled ioncross & the modulemanager.dll and they started working. Not sure what would be causing the conflict?
