  1. Very nice, I like it with the flare, although, maybe it could be a bit more discreet
  2. I like both of those, however, I do say that a) the flag is too small and they are a little out of kerbal scale- apart from those hiccups, I like it!
  3. I don't think that there is an opinion for me on the poll- I enjoy docking but find it easy, not boring
  4. Refuelling the LREV A lot of attempts were made to get to the stranded LREV- this was a proving ground for the failed experimental satellite launchers to get something right... or try, anyway First, there was this design Staging Didn't make it to orbit, design totally scrapped Then the improved design of the one before (yes, it was scrapped, but this was using the last of the already built rockets) Lifting off Accelerating away Booster separation Result- Failed to get to orbit, crashed into the large peninsular east of KSC, on a small farm; village was warned, 200 evacuated due to rocket fuels, 6 minor injury Using an unmanned LKO MTC, was going to be used for a station rota Result- Craft missed the vessel, insufficient thrust to slow down, re-entered safely This launcher used a leftover KerMun launcher, with the altered payload Launch Soaring away Stage separation Pushing away to orbit Second stage separation Third stage pulling away from Upper ascent stage Orbital (heh, screenshot800!) This is where it messes up... Very suddenly, KSP says no- it doesn't save, pause, let me leave even- after much hassling, I used what I had available- Hyperedit. Yes I know, I used a mod but the situation called for it- don't fret though, I did compensate; fuel wasn't transferred I predicted would be used, RCS drained, e.t.c. Approaching the spider-like lander Really fortunate I installed a docking port- closing a panel to ensure minimum damage in the event of an impact Close squeeze! *** After refueling, we depart Throttling away Screeching over a sparsly populated area, the upper stage could of been seen by amatuer observers- it was heading near KSC During the fireworks, the craft deliberately staged, to maximize the destruction of the craft Separating again Ending with a bang That's it for now, the craft still has to be fully refueled, will do that next.
  5. Ooooh! I was wondering how long an anatomy of the Kerbal would take- lurk mode activate...
  6. Is there a mission report for this? This is so cool! The whole indoor/ IVA idea is awesome!
  7. This Base/ Mission/ Guy Right here is consequently awesome- is there a log? Where is it if so? Soo cool! This ship is pretty
  8. Landing gear are quite strong, mainly because of their uses- landing gear is used on massive craft going at huge speeds as well as tiny craft gliding down. The idea is that, since there is no variation in landing gears, there is one, very strong, small landing gear for everything
  9. I've created a rather bleak looking model of the craft, but have been having texture problems- hell, I might make a model as a structural part, see what it comes out as
  10. It sounds like when you turn up your speakers really loud with nothing playing- I'm gonna try blu-tack tonight
  11. I think I might try to model this using blender...
  12. I am not a normal visitor here so please forgive me- I am angry- my computer has started making an annoying low level buzz that is detected by my microphone and its frustrating. Applying pressure or even contact to the back of my computer stops it. It isn't really about computer building but you guys will know something on the subject I'm sure. Please help
  13. I'm afraid I have no idea how to do this, I will stick with the 14" stuff- working on getting the tank gun downsized too
  14. Oh man, this is awesome! They remind me of Halo helmets, especially Bert and the helmet to the left I like Melvin most
  15. Actually, this editing of scale factor and scale has helped me exponentially- I just "washing machined" the 14" dual gun turret and created the 7" dual turret, still fires the same stuff, but edited time to reload, capacity, weight etc. I'm also re purposing the DEFA gun, but scaling up, not down- its been "irradiated" and has grown like Godzilla for use on my tanks (Personally, as I am using the stock parts mainly, the turret 127 gun is just too big (It looks odd on my stock dreadnought) If anyone would like help on scaling any parts, I'll be happy to explain the process, however, take into account that it is mainly not your work and the rules that apply, and so on EDIT: If anyone can find a way to rescale the 30 mm DEFA gun, I will try and get round to it tomorrow, it just will not re-scale, even with the lines for it! I'm using it to make a tank gun
  16. My advice, as I am doing now, is to take the 14" turret part, copy the entire file, edit the part and scale factor down for your appropriate request- that is what I am doing now, however, it is absolutely for private use, to ensure his stuff stays his You can do this with virtually all the parts, but many will look odd, thus it is better to wait for infinite dice to get round to it
  17. Why u do dis?! WHY U DO DIS TO MEH?! No, for real, the teasing- its gotta stop man, its just like *loads Grand Tour* *Sees new comment* *FURIOUSLY SCROLLS* *Finds teaser* *Internally rages*
