SESEOR Munbase- A pictorial Mission Report- Update 5/7/14
Rhyunix replied to Rhyunix's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Launching the LREV With all of the plan sorted out- launch, landing and usage- I stacked the design onto an experimental rocket design and shot it into the depths of space Except for one thing- not all experiments go according to plan... This area of the ascent is missing as I was trying to deal with the problem- here is the end result. The landing stage is now towing the orbit/TMI and MOAL Stage (Mun orbit adjustment/landing) running on fumes- its looking bleak However, the engineering of my lander saves me, scraping a 80 by 81 km orbit. So the challenge is on- initiative time! Stay tuned for more! -

But your Spock...

Laythe? Floating base?! VTOLS!? I'm afraid this is way out of my league. I do have a suggestion though- since I was trying to make ships, I used wings, angled out so it doesn't tip over. Try that!

Help! Glitch in staging - any way to save this ship?
Rhyunix replied to mellojoe's topic in KSP1 Discussion
If it works fine, and the rest of the ship can get to orbit and function, whack-a-kerbal it off -
Got enough antennas there?!

And usually embrace lithobraking

Under the homeland security act, this information has been kept well out of public viewing for 10 years. Nobody outside the Kerman Space program knew about this project. We bring you this information as the format we found it in- A series of logs of the progress of the Shuttle system narrated by Wernher Von Kerman and his assistant Dr Ediz (err-dis) Kerman This information is restricted to KSDP SL-3 and SL-4. Failure to comply with security level information order 12 will result in severe consequences. If you have found this information, hand it in to your nearest sentry or Section Guard Post and hand it in to the highest ranking official on site, nothing more will be said of it or sanctions may apply Day 6 WERNHER: I've been told that, as this is a military and highly classified project I should be working on logging results (which I do already) as vell as documenting any failures, anomalies or other results Engine testing began today- based on a High-Profile Missile engine the test went well. Minimal oscillation and lots of thrust. All going to plan Day 11 WERNHER: Ediz says the guards have increased security and are coming to his office frequently now but don't bother him so isn't worried about his safety. In here CLASSIFIEDunderground, I feel safe from everything but the people keeping me in here. I was brought into this due to my knowledge be- someones coming >>> WERNHER: Increase development by CLASSIFIED or face unknown consequences?! Its just like... no, I won't be reminded of that, not for a while. That man, he CLASSIFIED. We have started constructing a prototype, hope to get it working tomorrow Day 12 EDIZ: With a fully functioning prototype on the pad, Wernher and I were shuffled by force unnecessarily in the bunker. He took the system controls and waited. For 1 minute we waited. Then the system fired off. I went to observe the prototype soar through the air. WERNHER: It was going so well... 2000 m, the camera stops. Of course, I thought of it merely as a mechanical failure, but then came the explosion and I knew what had happened. Well so much for that prototype - communication breakdown was their petty cover story, that is if anyone was to ever find out *sigh* we'll have to work on it tomorrow Day 16 EDIZ: Another test, another failure. The engine configuration made staging fail, drastically. It was kinda successful after all, we can prove that it just can't be done with the current parts that we have now I have to go and try to tell Major ******** CLASSIFIED , that no matter how much pushing and shoving he tries, its just not going to happen. Although, telling him this may mean I'm never able to see CLASSIFIED beach ever again. Day 22? 24- whatever WERNHER: We get not damn budget for ourselves, not a single coin nor Kredit! I have to lend a couple of coins off of Sargent CLASSIFIED for a fraking vending machine- ugh, I vill just stop now, save the anger for work. More work. Its pristine, but I'm starting to want out. Day 49 WERNHER: Nearing the end of the month, the project has just been a waste of time, security has been CLASSIFIED in numbers, they're more concerned for themselves than us No better than working for- well, at least this isn't under rule of an meticulous madman. Two days before the last test Ediz says, if it fails now, we're all done for he'll find a way of getting home. Soon Day 53 EDIZ: Its over. It's all over- it was dead before but now they actually believe us I want to go home but they won't let me CLASSIFIED says I will be able to leave in four days when the trucks arrive and this is cleared away to the shelves in CLASSIFIED. Of course, this isn't supposed to exist but I know that it does, I've heard it mentioned several times. Mainly correlated to information about the Ivans. "It doesn't exist Wernher, just rumours" CLASSIFIED briefly told me Day 56 WERNHER: The ride home passed through a small Military Personnel Village. More trucks everywhere- the column I was in had all the movable stuff from the project onboard, everything else was "Disposed of" We're reaching a fence now... Ediz has gone through first- he's handed over his log. Well, they'll find nothing in there but writing. No doubt it will have lines all the way through it End of Official Log

Looks great! I think the clouds could do with a bit of rounding though

Should've used Kraken Drive, made it complete- I saw a K-Drive ship just like the one where the first human use of warp drive is done...

Certamen in Caelo [Picture Heavy] | III: 烠(Heat)
Rhyunix replied to Captain_Party's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Depending on what you are using to make the footage, its normally in video settings- for WMM, if you click on the video clip, you can see at the top, it says a variety of things such as video volume. There's one that says video speed- change that to 4 - I personally suggest you change it manually to a different speed for ease of view -
SESEOR Munbase- A pictorial Mission Report- Update 5/7/14
Rhyunix replied to Rhyunix's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Toughening & Customizing the LREV Further testing of the experimental Mun surface rover has found some flaws. I The Scientists and Engineers at the SESEOR R & D facility have made some changes. Below is some pictures of the testing. Test 001- Surface Traversing The VAB track to the launchpad is an ideal testing ground Testing the suspension (screenshot700!) Got good ground clearance, I think it'll work Test 001b- Impact suspension damage Increasing speed to 15 m/s Off the pad- simulating a crater rim or edge of some sort The damage is minimal Repair crew stop the vehicle, begin tyre replacement The repairman, who's name is to remain anonymous, says "I can move round this thing easily alright" Test 002- Deployment The rail deployment method Separation from the lander A small motor pushes the detached rail system FAILED DEPLOYMENT Well hack gravity saved it One explosion later, the design needed to be changed Test 002.2 Altered rail deployment method ??? Definite Profit right here A series of unknown events caused this Test 002.25 Well, its good enough- onwards! -
If you edited the parts where the writing came up, I think this would be perfect
