  1. Ah, yes- by far the most painstaking part of the video- If you have audio already of kerbal voices, then you finish the project with its music and all the clips and text, save it, get the finished clip and slap it into a movie maker, then post edit it to add the sounds. If you don't have the sounds, pick a strange language and faf around in movie maker with making it different speeds (done by saving it as (recommended by me only) a youtube clip, then getting another MM up and putting the saved clip in there, change stuff, then save as audio clip)
  2. It doesn't require necessarily an enforcement, just a majority agreement. People could, of course, carry on doing this- But what if most of us agreed not to? At that point, militarization would seem unjust. It does tighten the reins on personal creativity but I counter by saying that, although that's what rockets we're build for at the start, the game itself is about exploring, not killing- There is far to much willingness to kill in this world, lets not bring it into an exploratory game.
  3. Everybody's using Pegasus all of a sudden- It's cause I started it ^.^
  4. I did realize the text issue, but by the time I edited it, it had racked up months of my time- I guess I focused more on finishing it; next time I'll fix that - Post editing!
  5. By far one of the most drawn out, tedious, breaky and 80% rewarding videos I've made- my Cinematic effort, with nothing but KSP, Fraps and Windows Movie Maker (shudders) I present... The Walk
  6. Ahh that is funny! Where do you get those nasa clips hidden around?
  7. Flip the ship around, so they rotate- strange bug though
  8. Mine start as a mission, say Infinity. The Infinity would be a satellite program, so it would evolve I - tester II- corrections and additions to above III - pinnacle of above work IV - starting landing V - mastered landing VI - probably an all in one VII - rover or something Then the mission is finished
  9. This is cool! I agree with Vanamonde about your style- I like it!

  12. Logging in Orbit Acknowledging Voice Print - SC1 Crew Member Nelrim Kerman /// Begin Voice Recording NELRIM: Is this thing on? Julius Com: Recording active NELRIM: ... Right, lets get this ball rolling- err... Log 5, Day... er Julius Com: Day 18, Nelrim NELRIM: 18, right... SC-1 - Nelrim Kerman. This is my second log- as far as this mission is going, this is fantastic Julius Com: Should I upload Images, sir? NELRIM: Negative Julius Com, not now Julius Com: Aye sir NELRIM: Anyway... We've been playing some of our favorite albums from home- got my Boards of Canada on the deck mic and in my section of the station; far beyond this joy though, is the dark side of the Mun and indeed, the dark side of space. Opposite to its description, the dark side of space is full of stars; we dim lights in the cabin for us to see the true beauty of the cosmos- out here, away from all the light sources; its any inner child and astronomer's dream alike. Raydon brought up some of the classic music his Pa told him to listen to- he was lost in it for a while. We got news less than 15 minutes ago- they've done it; they're on the surface. I slightly envy them, but think back to what its like up here, with all the kerbals around me. Anyhow, Flight says they might get to talk to us direct- a real treat. So that's what I am excited for tomorrow, otherwise its back to the work which I sound to shove aside as an inferior work place- its the most inviting place to work in, ever. Period. And I love it. Log End Julius Com: Recording End ///

Tomtrey: Its tranquil, that's the word- Doodby: Right- you will have a lot of that for a while, remember, take it in slowly or you'll get bored Tomtrey: Roger that Tomtrey: I'm preparing the engine- Newbree: Its already online Tomtrey: Oh... 14. Awaras just made my day
  15. I agree with Devo, the emoticons won't distract the devs, just the forum maintainers- they are good, I like them!
  16. Me confused- what is human personas?
  17. The pegasus one- if you move the rainbow triangle thingy and the horse, you could squeeze primary crew in there- its a suggestion, don't judge my ideas ...
  18. This is the best I could do with the angle change- I simply can't change the lander's angle
  19. Jpvalery, its perfect! One small problem on my part- I can't even explain, I don't even know how but the crews swapped- The crew is now tomtrey, doodby and newbree; Soo sorry! Could you swap those names in please and keep the design? Also, if I haven't caused enough chaos, please add Primary crew somewhere... I ask for so much (facepalm)
  20. Since I haven't left the Kerbin system at all with any manned flight ever, I really can't question the planets bit, more along the lines of the Moon bits. I have great vibe about reaching another planet or moon- Dres is the one that I want to be on. For me, it's really about telling the community about my travels. The most useful way of making more out of your trip is by making it more homely- when I say this, I am talking about utilities. Say if you went to Duna. For me, this would be a pride moment. I will, of course, start with the flag ceremony. Then I would of brought a habitat module of some description which I can leave behind when I take off. I would also bring a compact rover for an excursion. Bringing flags and so on and planting them on nearby areas to christen regions. Then I'd stay inside and take pictures. After this (which for me might take an hour or two IRL) I would go on a "Deep Excursion" A really long excursion say, 50 km north, south, east or west or somewhere in between. Perhaps I'd visit a probe which had landed before (they are normally what I aim for as I can see what terrain is near) after this, I'd either wait for another mission to secure some kind of base or I'd return to a mothership of some kind and fly home
  21. A very well planned, detailed program- I shall follow this with great interest
